The Lord of the Rings: The Motion Picture Trilogy [Blu-ray]

Beware, if like me, you’re trying to buy a version with Japanese subtitles, but don’t fear, they are there. This 4K version continues the bizarre Warner Bros DVD style of hiding it’s Japanese subtitles, and only making them visible if you go into your player’s menu and change the blu-ray menu settings to Japanese. This is very easy once you know about it, but if nobody tells you, you would have no idea. Keep in mind also that the Japanese audio and subtitles are only available on the extended editions (not on the theatrical versions for some reason).Hope this helps someone in future. The 4K transfer itself is absolutely amazing, crystal clear video and stunning audio. Well worth the money for a true fan.

北米版のようなので日本と同一リージョンのため再生は問題ないかと思います。字幕についてはタイトルの通り日本語はなく、英語字幕も聴覚障害者向けで健聴者にはやや冗長な情報がありますが、本品を求めるような方はDVD版のスペシャルエクステンデッドエディションを所有していてい何度も観ていてほとんど台詞も暗記していることと思うので問題ないかもしれません。やや脚色の多いホビット3部作に比べて、原作を忠実に映像化したLOTR3部作を高画質で視聴することができ大変満足です。

すべてのディスクに傷あるので30分ぐらい映画見えなくなるAll of the Blu-ray discs have dents on them meaning that 30minutes and more of each discs are unwatchable due to those dents

以前のレビューで再生できないなどのレビューがあり、私のPS5で再生可能か心配していましたが、PS5では無事に再生出来ました。が、以下、注意があります。まず、商品到着後、再生確認の為、エクステンデッドエディションの第一部ディスク１を挿入後、PS5にて、「不正なディスクです。」とメッセージが表示され、あえなく再生できずでした・・・。やはり先人のレビューが重要だったかと返品さえも諦めかけましたが、「一応！」と思い、エクステンデッドエディションの第一部ディスク２を挿入すると、普通に再生出来ました。映像も音声もUHDならではで綺麗です。という事で、私の場合は再生機器の問題ではなく、ディスクの状態が悪いと判断し、返品対応としました。返品で持ってってもらってから、再度購入する予定でいますので、全て再生確認取れ次第、こちらでも追記できればします。尚、もしこちらの商品を購入する際は、ちゃんと全てのディスクが再生できるかどうか、手間ですが、商品到着後に確認することをお勧めします。追記)返品後、欧州版（KINDFASSUGENと記載されてる商品）を再購入し、無事にPS5で全て再生確認が出来ました。全編見たわけではないですが、とりあえずメニュー画面と最初の1分程度の確認ですが。これからじっくり時間作って、作品を楽しみます。

Over ¥16,000 for this three-set 4K UHD and plastic casing is what it comes in? When it arrived it was damaged. A disc fell out because it can not stay in place. The mechanism that keeps the discs in place are flimsy and are not likely to last very long until they break.For this price I think we can do better than this can't we?
