Great tasting water!! Fresh and pure.
I absolutely love this pitcher. For over 13 years, I had a Soma water filter pitcher in my house. It was glass, and we went through that water fast because it was smaller, but good tasting. Just last week, after I ordered this one, the pitcher was left in the freezer it broke. Bittersweet, but a day or so later this one came in, and after setting it up it produced the same delicious water our older one did and more of us can drink it before we have to refill it. It doesn't leak or smell weird and I do plan on testing the water soon to see how good the water quality is. I will update it if necessary, but I am elated and pleased with our bigger pitcher.

Pure Refreshment
I have been using the Soma Plant-Based Replacement Filters for my Soma water pitcher, and I am delighted to give them a well-deserved 5-star rating. These filters have become an essential part of my water purification routine, providing me with pure and refreshing water that I can trust. One of the standout features of the Soma Plant-Based Replacement Filters is their plant-based composition. These filters are made from a unique blend of plant-based materials, such as coconut shell carbon and silk, which effectively filter out impurities and contaminants. The use of renewable and sustainable resources in the manufacturing process aligns with my eco-conscious values, making me appreciate the product even more. The filtration performance of these replacement filters is exceptional. They effectively remove chlorine, mercury, zinc, copper, and other unwanted substances from tap water, ensuring that the water I consume tastes fresh and clean. I have noticed a significant improvement in the overall taste and odor of my drinking water since using these filters.Replacing the filters is a breeze, thanks to the user-friendly design. The simple and intuitive installation process allows me to effortlessly swap out the old filter with a new one, ensuring continuous access to purified water. The filters fit securely and snugly in the pitcher, preventing any leakage or issues during use.Durability is another key aspect of these replacement filters. Each filter has a long lifespan, providing me with approximately two months of reliable filtration before needing to be replaced. This extended lifespan not only ensures cost-effectiveness but also minimizes the frequency of filter changes, saving me time and effort. The Soma brand is synonymous with quality and sustainability, and these replacement filters are no exception. The commitment to using high-quality materials and the use of a rigorous manufacturing process gives me confidence in the overall reliability and performance of the filters.Additionally, the Soma Plant-Based Replacement Filters are compatible with various Soma water pitcher models, making them a versatile option for Soma users. Whether you have a classic pitcher or a newer model, these filters are designed to fit seamlessly and provide the same exceptional filtration results.

The taste is fabulous
Soma is the best water filter I have used. I can really tell the difference in the taste of my water.

Love it but it doesn't last long before it molds and cannot be cleaned
I loved this filter and would order again. The water had a clean taste, and I used it for just over 2 years. However, after about 6 months I noticed the rubber ring seal around the top of the piece you remove to replace the filter had molded. I was able to scrub it and most of it removed, however there is now mold ingrained in the seal that cannot be scrubbed or soaked away. I even used antifungal cleaner on it with no effect. I will not be using mine any longer due to the inability to remove the mold in its entirety. Though there's not much to be said for its longevity, a few positive points are the taste, quick filtering speed, and aesthetic look of the pitcher.

Expensive, Pretty, Useless
TLDR: This is an aggressive waste of your money.Pro: It is prettyCon: Literally everything it is supposed to accomplish, it sucks at. It is $40, who knows how expensive these very specific filters are, I didn't bother to keep this long enough to need to replace it. Also, the filter it did come with, right in its own sealed little pouch, had charcoal/filtering particles falling out of the filter. Where the particles are supposed to be. They are supposed to be inside. They were not. Did I have the option to return this? Yes. I did try to make it work, try to make sure that I wasn't being fussy, but no, I was not. This is just garbage. I ended up donating this about 2 months after I got it (cleaned and dried it out beforehand of course). For some reason, my account reminded me that I made this purchase forever ago, and that prompted me to write this because I don't want that for you. Please buy literally anything else.Edit Oct 2023: this popped up AGAIN through my account, and it made me mad all over again. Now it is $44 AND still sucks. 2 years later, I’m still upset with this product. If there’s something you do today dear reader, I hope it doesn’t involve buying this particular pitcher. Channel my rage. Click away. Take it out of your cart, never look back.
