Transformers and Inductors for Power Electronics: Theory, Design and Applications

The single greatest material on power magnetics
This book is not for the layman. You need a background of power electronics and a little bit of electromagnetics to fully appreciate this text. There is a fantastic progression and coverage of background materials. This text has a few strange variables (which are all described adequately in a table at the beginning) but not nearly as bad as the McLyman text. Typos galore - most notably, all examples are "exmaples". There are a few sections which go too deep into the math without good explanation but, as a whole, this book is a must have!

Very Good Book
This is a very good book, clear explaination, and well written. The book is well organized. A lot of clear derivation of formula. I have several other power electronic and transformer books, and I find this to be the best book for me (I am a user, and I am not trying to advertise this book). Authors also included several Mathlab codes for simulating transformer and SMPS.

Excellent book for the working power supply designer.

Introduction to Transformers Book
like the authors say this is more like an student tranfromers book. It is good explaining in a simpler way many concepts, but lacks of depth in other areas, unlike McLymans's which has more depth in concepts but its explanations are straight forward.

It looks a great information source
It looks a great information source.(my opinion is superficial , I only did to leaf trough the pages). The theorycal contents looks be very rich , but pratical constructions and exercises are not so muck.At final i feel that my expectancy are satisfyed.I'm happy with book.

Could not Read Formulaes
It is impossible to read the Formulaes making the book worthless --I even tried the aA to try enlarge it
