Rivers of London: 1-3 Slipcase Set (Graphic Novel)

These are fantastic. I loved the books and I really like these. I just wish they were longer.

Decided I needed to read these, as they are referenced in the books. By necessity, the stories are rather short, but still enjoyable. My only complaint would be that Molly's teeth looked like normal human teeth.

Having listened to all of the Rivers of London books and become a huge fan of Ben Aaronovitch and Peter Grant I wanted to fill in the gaps. Graphic novels are new medium to me but, i think because of the characters and stories, I really enjoyed these three novels. To see someone's interpretation of what Peter, Inspector Nightingale, never Thomas, Molly et al added another dimension to the stories. I already have their voices in my head through the skills and artistry of Kobna Holdbrook-Smith. I'll be getting the other graphical novels as soon as I can.

A fine representation of Aaronovich's Rivers of London stories. All original and fills in gaps mentioned in the novels such as the haunted BMW. Well worth it!

Saw them on a good sale price and glad I bought them. I'm sure that each readers mileage will vary, but I rather thought that the Black Mould story was much weaker than the other two. It deserved a more full telling of the story, which seemed an ill fit for the graphic novel format.

My order arrived very quickly and was packaged extremely well. I'm picky about the condition of my purchases and I was especially happy with my new Rivers of London set.

Fun read!

I came to the Rivers of London comics from Ben Aaronovitch's novels and was happy to find all these characters in my head illustrated in action. I enjoyed Body Work and Black Mould a bit better than Night Witch, but still a strong start for these companion graphic novels. I look forward to more as I continue reading the other novels and novellas as well.
