One that is capable of Dolby Atmos and one that has at least 7.1 so you can use the main speaker on the right or left front terminal and one for the Atmos speaker, surround left or right terminal.

Q: How does this r-625fa kit compare to a polk xt kit with the xt70 towers, xt20 surrounds, xt35 center channel, and 12" sub?

I would go with the Klipsch, why? Here are the reasons 1) You get more bang for your buck with the Klipsch A) Comes with subwoofer B) Has Dolby Atmos speakers built into the tower C) IMHO, sounds better than Polk 2) Polk subs are good, to me Klipsch subs sound better Now mind you both packages are in the “ Budget Tier” while they both are good, there is obviously better to be had, BUT not at this price point. Now with that being said, when I ordered my Klipsch package my subwoofer was “lost” in the shipping process. Adorama credited me the cost of the subwoofer, which I used towards purchasing the S-120 by Klipsch which actually is the sub that is part of that reference series. The Klipsch subwoofer that they send, while it does the job it’s not part of the reference series. Lastly make sure to pair with a decent receiver and you will be able to enjoy the speakers a lot more. I personally went with the Denon 4700 H, which is a middle of the road receiver. I also added another Klipsch S-120 (so now I run 2 subs) I’m able to utilize my Dolby Atmos which is AWESOME, especially when you watch Ready Player One. Between the Atmos and the even dispersion of the bass you truly are enveloped in sound. Hope this helps you on your road to Surround Sound.

Spends on your setup for total length amount but a 100ft roll of two of 12 ga oxygen free audio wire and a good set of rca cables for the subwoofer should do it.
