This is an excellent alternative to the Magmod. I am sure Magmod fans will disagree but this is a strong, durable diffuser which performs very well. It is also very reasonably priced and will improve your flash photography

This is an amazing product, but not worth paying Magmod over £100. It's a piece of silicon with magnets! To charge what MM is charging simply is over pricing. The Selens product is appropriately priced and is a good product. I assume Selens must have upgraded the magnets as they are absolutely fine and there is no fear that the diffuser will fall off at all. People, do not pay over a hundred quid for a piece of silicon! As good as this product is for us photogs, it's not worth that amount of money. This one is just as good.

I read lots of comments about how much h better the MagMod flash diffuser was and even though the price is almost 4 time higher, I decided to buy the MagMod. However delivery was not going to be in time for a wedding shoot I was doing, so thought I'd chance it with the Selens. The Selens arrive ld next day! The adapter fitted perfectly on my Nikon SB700 and the magnet were strong enough that I could shake the camera with no fear of anything falling off. I would recommend to anyone. I suspect the complaints comen from people with larger flashes, where the adapter is overstretched and the magnets are displaced and misalign with the silicone diffuser magnets.

Magnets are not as strong though more than capable of holding modifiers securely.Rubber grip is slimmer than my usual brand though fits my full size Godox speed lights including the new Round Head for AD200 - indeed it fits better than my usual grip; as being slimmer i'm certain no vents are covered.Dome - tested with my light meter & it eats an extra full stop of light, compared to my usual sphere, just need to be aware though works fine & is a quality product & the reason 4 not 5 stars.

I love mine makes flash photography results look professional. Better off camera as it is top heavy but not impossible

Great product for events etc. Only gripe is that the magnets sometimes come off in the bag but ok when all fitted to flashgun.Did a birthday event with this and it was much better than bare flash or messing about with a dma softbox.
