Works great
Works great for my mini golf cart. Modification was needed for installation on my truck with a bed cap on it. Wish it would have an option for size of winch that it comes with. I didn't need a 2000lb winch, could have used a smaller 1000lb winch. Instructions were easy to follow.

The winch broke in 4 uses
I bought this a year ago and have only used it 4 times. I kept it covered at all times under my truck bed cover. I went to use it today to pull my jon boat up into my truck bed and it just stopped working. I tried 2 fully charged batteries and nothing. The toy loader bracket is great but the Warn 2000 winch is horrible.

Not what was Advertised.
This set up is to be put in the back of your truck They do not tell you on the Amazon site that it's encouraged only be used with 600 pounds only. So if you have a golf cart that this is electric with batteries you talking about 900 pounds. Now of course the winch did work with it . Still worried about the supports. Also did not tell you that up must buy a block(pully) to make sure it does over task the setup. The winch cables are 6 ft long. Not sure what truck that 6 ft cables would reach the bed to the battery under the hood. Not a bad set up but not worth the money. 2021 update. The unit still working. The supports are starting to bend and yes it was installed correctly. The middle support is not strong enough and just needs a ridged support so the support will not bend. Would be worth the money if thicker aluminum or steel. A few changes would make a wonderful difference

More challenging than they would have you believe.
The bracket can be difficult to install alone. I had to go to Home Depot and get some additional clamps to stabilized it while I marked holes for the screws. Some of the information in the installation manual is confusing for people who don't assemble things on a regular basis. What really got my goat was after I had assembled the bracket the toy loader guide simply abandon me when it came to mounting the winch and what was worse than that the holes didn't line up for mounting the winch they were off about a quarter of an inch. Mounting the winch takes at least two people. At least it did in the toyloader configuration I had. Toyloader needs to set up a network of installers around the country if they don't make their equipment easier to install. I do have a caveat though they have to make it suitable for variety a pickup trucks. So I guess we can cut them SOME slack due to the fact how universal their equipment is supposed to be.

Works as intended
I use it strictly for loading toys..mostly ATV. I have a almost 800 lb ATV and a big truck (Ram 2500) , I used my snowmobile ramp.Installing the bar is probably the hardest part - requires you to drill into your vehicle. Installation is really too hard, just time consuming to do it right. The winch install is painless and easy to remove and store. I have the 2,000lb winch it came with and it struggles a tad to pull my ATV up but does the job. I have 3500 winch that performs the job much easier. I would also suggest switching to a rope over a cable.I elected to go with a power pack jump starter. Which works like a charm.Honestly, its a cake walk to operate. You can literally stand outside your vehicle with the "wired" remote and watch it load. I love it....

Safe & Very Easy to install and utilize
I purchased my first Toy Loader system, after a couple of questions, 3 years ago in 2016, It was very easy to install. I am getting ready to order another one and the factory was great to work with. I am from Orlando and my golf cart has been towed behind my 40ft Motor Home in my F150 all over the US and Canada. It has been getting a lot positive attention wherever I go. My street legal, 1,135 lb cart has been loaded and offloaded over 100 times in the past three years and has been exposed to all kinds of weather and has never given me any problems. I think the best thing about Toy Loader System, Safe, Reasonable & Easy, Thank You Toy Loader
