Great little antenna!
We usually have problems receiving local channels because the hills in our area obstruct signals. This antenna had no trouble getting all of our local channels within range. It's slim, easy to install, and I like how versatile the placement can be with the adhesive pads. You can use the suction cup directly on a window or attach the antenna without the base to the back of a tv or some other inconspicuous place. We didn't have to re-scan for channels when we moved it and the picture came through clearly. We usually use Netflix, but are so glad to have a great working antenna for football season! We also own a Chaowei DVB66 with the magnetic base and that antenna is awesome as well. Both receive the signals exceptionally well, but some people might like how the DVB218 can be hidden behind a TV or placed where the other tabletop antennas cannot be. Rabbit ears have nothing on the Chaowei antennas (ours went immediately into the trash once we realized how much better these new antennas are!). Overall, this is a great piece of equipment for the price and worth the buy!

USELESS
Tried to use on two different televisions in separate locations and regardless of where the antenna is place it's never gave quality reception. Most days the reception was sporadic. Truly a waste of money. I wish I had tried to use it as soon as I purchased it so I could have returned it.

Good Antenna
As with all antennas such as these, a good part of reception depends on your location. I'm using this little guy in my back bedroom in an apartment complex and I pick up a fair amount of channels. It's small, easy to move around, I like the looks of it and serves it's purpose for my bedroom. My living room TV has cable that comes with the apartment. I don't use the suction cup, so I don't know if it works or if it will stay. I don't find those kind of suction cups reliable on walls.

They pull in all the UHF stations very well, but not Hi-V
I purchased the Chaowei DVB218 Mini Indoor Digital TV Antenna to get local stations using the Hi-V Band. UHF stations come in just fine, but like every other indoor antenna, I have tried, there is no signal, for the Hi-V stations. Living in the Houston area and being about 28 miles away, Northwest from the transmission towers, they all fail to receive the local ABC, CBS and PBS stations. I guess I will need an outdoor antenna, if I am to receive them free over the air.

Great Little HD Indoor Antenna
The compact size of the antenna is perfect for small places like my laundry room and garage... Simply attach it to the back of my HD televisions with one single cord and it doesn't require an electrical amplifier to access HD programing. This unit is similar to one that I purchased several years ago for a moderate price. at a local dollar store Although this unit is twice the price of my original unit, it is more sturdy and comes with a stand and additional cable line with fittings..

Did not solve my problem, but worth a look.
The main problem I had was bringing in channel 13 (FOX) , it is in high VHF. I put this antenna in front of my window inmy living room and without a antenna booster it found channel 13 while no other antenna I used would. The onlyproblem was the picture would break up. I tried moving the antenna but it never would come in. I am sure that it wouldbring in the channel if I found the right spot. So if you are willing to take the time to do that then this antenna is worth a look. There seems to be a big enough difference between high VHF and low VHF. Look up your area and see what fewchannels are still in VHF , if it shows low vhf then this antenna will probably work for sure. I returned mine, but I want to stressif I didn't already have other flat antennas laying around I would have kept this one. In Memphis we have radio stationsthat have both FM and AM slots on free radio. Why not the same thing for free TV? Only two stations here are in VHF and they will not come in a easy as UHF. I don't know how it would work but could they have a setup where a TV stationcan be allowed to broadcast in UHF too?Bottom line, worth a try if It doesn't work return for partial refund.

NOT MUCH LUCK GETTING VHF SIGNALS
I really wanted to like this, but sadly it was something that did not work for me. The description says "Improved VHF Signal Receiving - Besides UHF channels,Chaowei DVB218 Clear TV Antenna can receive all possible VHF channels within 35 miles range, which the current digital indoor antenna may not". That is why I wanted to see what it could do. I cannot bring in the VHF signals for channel 8 (CBS) or channel 13 (ABC). After I ran the scan I could not get them either, but I also got a weak signal on 3 (NBC) and on occasion I lost the signal on 10 (PBS). Those channels are important to me. It is important to note that I live within 6 miles of all of these station transmitters and that I have 4 other televisions that are able to pull them in. I scanned at least 15 times after repositioning the unit. I also found the of the suction cup annoying because I don't want to have to use an adhesive backing to hold the flat round stand that comes with it. Obviously the adhesive would make it sloppy to reposition 15 times. Fortunately I noticed it was magnetic so I attached it to a strong magnet and it was easily, although ineffective to reposition it. I do have other products from the company (particularly the one with the magnetic base and those work fine. After scanning I actually lost channels, but the screen said I had a total of 70 channels so there were a lot, but just not any that I particularly wanted.
