n scale KATO C 62 Sanyo Shape Kure line 2017-5 Train Model steam Locomotive

What can I say, it's a Kato, amazing machine, smoth running, and lots of detail.

Bought this for my son, after trying a Bachman first that failed to run properly. This is a much better locomotive, very happy, just wish I would have bought this first as it was disappointing for Christmas when the Bachman didn't work.

The train died shortly after I bought it. Authorized return to Japan but they refused to pay for shipping but not a big deal until I went to ship it UPS the cheapest and was $150 to Japan for a small box less than a pound. I never shipped it of course because the cost was more than the train so took the loss and will never buy Kato again as their trains have to many problems, not the first time I had problem with their expensive trains. The train makes a high frequency buzzing sound. The couplers are useless as it is the type they used about 60 years ago and I know this because I bought the 50th anniversay of Kato train and had same couplers which were useless also unless you got cars that old. The train cost is cheap however for a Kato train even though it doesn't have dcc or sound capability. The detail is good so good though but not worth the money just to look at a dead train.

The c62 does have a problem with derailing. However if you look on the top side of the front truck there is a brace applying pressure to the front side of the truck that is fixed into a hole in the frame above it. If this brace is bumped with some Force the brace will snap in through the hole and relieve downward pressure on the truck. This condition will cause the truck to derail constantly. Place the brace back in the hole or actually take it out of the hole and let it sit against the frame and the derailing will disappear.

皆さんが言っているように、ケースから取り出すのも気を使うほど細かい部品が付いています。ただ前面の手すりが、変な型が付いてしまっており、きっちりハマらず浮いたままです。細かい部品で再現し過ぎるのも考えものですね。
