WizKids Monster Menagerie III (3) Brick

Got here quick and looked awesome. My players were terrified.

The Kraken is heavy to hold, with fine sculpting, deep coloring, and he looks alive!I see complaints about people feeling you don't receive much for the cost, but I disagree. In my photograph, I've placed the Kraken beside an Aspect of Tiamat 24/60 miniature (which cost me $72 on Ebay) and you can see how the bulk, presentation, and sheer size make this figure more impressive--and it comes with a treasure chest, skeleton, Sand bar, tentacles and a row boat! I placed the figure also alongside a normal 25mm miniature and a giant from the Storm King's Thunder booster pack to show size comparison. I highly recommend you snag one of these Krakens before they're out of production!My only MAJOR complaint is that the box the figure arrived in was torn, smashed, and not reusable for storage! This would have had to be returned if purchased as a gift due to old, damaged-looking packaging.

Actual product is great, detailed, and a great addition to any DnD setting.Huge issue with the shipping. Was only packed in a shipping bag and the box was severely damaged/ crushed. The top of the box was also ripped in the shipping process (I'm assuming). Zero protection for the product's box- might as well have just put a shipping label on the actual product and sent.

I've purchased a couple bricks of Monster Menagerie 3 and I've had no issues. Mine have all come through Amazon, and I think 2 were actually sold by Amazon. 1 came from a game shop, but those were still in the 8 pack shrink wrap so no problems there. I wish they hadn't reduced it to only 4 minis per pack, but that's just the way it is now. Anyways, this was a great run of minis and has a lot of giants in it, in case you're needing some of those for a campaign.Just be careful that you read the actual description before purchasing. Sometimes the picture might be incorrect for what you're getting; i.e. 1 booster instead of a brick (but then again, if you thought you were buying a brick for $14.95 you should know the deal is too good to be real)

Painting 4/5: the body of the Kraken is great. different shades of red, browns, and white. The Skelton, boat, and chest are good. However the tentacles are pretty bland. Just a brown with very small changes to color.extras 3/5: This box comes with a chest; two sandbanks?; a rowboat; and a skeleton. The chest is good and inside is gold. The rowboat would be good if the rows fit into their holsters on the side of the boat. I likely wouldn't use the rows anyways in combat. Skelton is good and well painted. The sandbanks, I guess if you want to call them that are kind of meh. I personally wouldn't use them.notes: I wish the tentacles were more hooked so I could put medium creatures inside of them. Will likely add sticky tac to the tentacles and jam the minis on.None of my tentacles came in broke. however the base for one was completely off and another had one peg unglued. but nothing a small dab of super glue wouldnt fix.

I received 8 individual boxes (1 brick) of name brand miniatures. They are packed very well by the manufacturer and I didn't have any trouble with broken minis. You do need to be careful when you unpack them because they are tightly wrapped.This miniature has one "Giant" and 3 individual miniatures. I still think the price for 4 minis is very high. However, it is standard for these things through most legitimate sources so I won't mark down for that.I will probably be buying 1-2 more of these to continue to build my collection.

I like the miniatures- they look cool, they feel pretty sturdy but a couple were broken. Its not from a lack of trying but the xtra large miniature is placed into a plastic holding piece instead of bubble wrapped like everything else so if it pops out during shipping it gets annihilated. Also gluing them back together is slightly difficult.

Released before Wizkids radically upped their prices, this remains a great value buy and a remarkable miniature.

Amazon app wont let me access my photos… but I received 3/8 of the huge minis with damage to them. One was severed from the base, another was missing their arm from the elbow down, and the storm giant’s thunder streaks were broken off.My only option is to return all 8 cases worth, but i already mixed up my minis from the other boxes which were fine. This is unacceptable and I should be given 3 new boxes or 3 replacement huge minis.
