Cedarcide OriginalFor Harvest mites, Fleas & Ticks 250ml For Dogs

This product arrived with a faulty spray bottle but the customer service was amazing and sorted it out right away! We have gone for years without any flea infestations at all and that is with four pets, three cats and a dog. We do not know where the fleas came from but suspect that they rode in a duvet someone gave to us for our dog. In retrospect, we should have treated it first but for some reason, we thought as this gifter had owned a B&B, that they would have been very conscientious about pest control. Never make assumptions, eh? Unfortunately, one of our cats has suffered the worst as she has the thickest fur which provides a safe haven for the insidious fleas. We do not want to use poisons on any our pets, so were looking to natural means. I had used coconut oil and found that worked temporarily as it did either paralyze or kill the fleas that were on her on contact. But, we realized that we needed something for a much broader approach, for the pets and the household. I had heard Cedarwood oil was a natural flea killing agent but is also toxic to cats. However, we were delighted to find Cedarcide which was formulated to be safe for both cats and dogs and can be used around the home. We have only had the working bottle for one day but it seems to kill the fleas but time will tell. I do like the fragrance of it and the cats do not seem to mind it. In fact, our most-infested cat will lay on my lap and purr as I comb the fleas out of her. A nice bonding exercise - if you ignore the disgusting element of dealing with dead fleas. The long term effectiveness of the product remains to be seen. The company also has another enzyme product which I will try directly from them. I recommend looking at their website to learn more about their range of products. I suspected my dog had a little mange,1 spray with this and aftrer va few days my dog stopped biting the mange area.

Wow super fast delivery right before XmasSeems to be a great product - I did lots of research for a natural flea remedy for my gsd puppy and this came up.I was so happy to see I could get off amazon UK as this is an America product.I’ve been using for a week and I think we are getting there with no fleas.It smells quite strong but it’s not unpleasant as it’s cedar so smells like horse shavings or a wood yard.You only need a little bit as it goes a long wayYou can also safely spray on bedding and furniture too so brilliant.

Only recently received and used - initially hate the smell, my dog is running away from the spray so I have had little chance of actually spraying on the affected area, ie his front paws. He hasn't got fleas, just these horrid little harvest mites inbetween his front toes. I will keep trying to spray them, but will have to do it outside as the smell lingers in the house and it is very unpleasant, a little bit stinging on the eyes and throat! If my dog stops gnawing at the paws within a week, it will all be worth it, otherwise the stuff will go in the bin!

Very good product and kills fleas, mites, lice immediately. Not so impressed with the container though as difficult to work the spray one-handed with struggling animal in the other. A trigger spray would be so much easier.
