Let me start by saying this product is very good. It took me about an hour (taking my time and being careful) to put this screen in. Probably could be done in 30 minutes. I rated this as easy to install in that it is easy for what it is... however, it is not easy if you have no electronics repair experience at all. If you have worked on computers, etc, you should be fine.I would be SURE to watch online videos to learn how to do it. You will need to remove several very small parts including ribbon cables from the board on the old LCD before you install this one, but if you do it right, it WILL work.The latest version of this, I can confirm, comes WITH the speaker ribbon ALREADY INSTALLED which saves a CONSIDERABLE amount of work.Screen quality after: Good as new or better.Sound after: Good as new or better.Buy with confidence.My only negative on this repair kit is the actual tools... 70% of them are perfect. The plastic pry tool however is low quality and barely got the job done... it would be much better to have a thin metal pry tool. The screw driver worked perfectly. I would have a good pair of hobby tweezers handy if you have them!

I bought this to replace a broken screen on my LG K20 Plus. I chose to purchase the complete assembly because after extensive study, I felt that replacing the screen only would have too many opportunities for damaging the LCD and digitizer part that is fastened to the back of the screen. I actually chose a different item on Amazon, but since it was out of stock I rolled the dice on a product that had no reviews. It became pretty clear that there are a number of outlets through Amazon that provide a new screen for the K20, but it is likely they all come from one or two manufacturers in China. I chose a video from YouTube that gave clear instructions, and proceeded to replace the screen.The replacement went very smoothly with the exception of one thing. I will discuss this in a moment. I put the phone back together after moving the little parts from the old assembly, and it all went back together very easily, with the part fitting perfectly. Turned the phone on and it works perfectly.This would have gotten five stars except for one thing, which I believe is common among these replacement screens. When reading some of the reviews for other similar parts, it was fairly common that after reassembly the speaker did not work. So as I was moving parts I was pre-warned to be looking for anything that was not exactly as in the original part. There was a little ribbon cable part in the lower left corner of the screen in the shape off an H that was not included in the replacement. It was not connected to anything, but had connection points at each of the four tips. Looking at the MB and the outer cover this part lined up under the speaker, and indeed would be needed to provide speaker in the new part. I very carefully removed the piece from the old screen assembly and placed it into the new assembly. There was enough adhesive on the piece to hld it in place. And when the phone was reassembled, the speaker worked fine.The procedure to move this cable assembly was an additional step that was not in the assembly videos, as the new assemblies they were using provided this little connector. This is a deficiency that should be corrected in the replacement part at the factory where these are made. Otherwise a perfectly acceptable replacement part.The tools came in handy, especially the little pry bars, so I am glad I chose a part that provided the tools. Next time I will not need them.

Worked perfect to replace my broken screen

Defective part........ My original phones screen was damaged but touchscreen was still functional... it took some time (reading reviews) to choose the correct item, recieved the package today and like the reviews said you have to use a lot of components from your old unit...... transferred the original parts to the replacement unit and it powered up fine but NO touch screen capability...... after 1 hour of troubleshooting and switching parts I still have to use a screen that is shattered due to the one ordered was defective...::..

Bought by my 16yo son to replace the screen on his cell. He disassembled and reassembled the phone in under 30 minutes. Works very well, but has one strange quirk now... Perhaps a loose connection... Where the buttons are unresponsive or slow if the phone is in a certain position... But it doesnt affect use enough to try again.

my screen had broken, i had someone change the screen and it did not work because it was a fake screen. bought this one, had it replaced and it works great. the phone worked like new.

the speaker connection was missing. I took the connection from the busted screen I replaced and moved it into the new one. it took me 3 tries to correctly line up the connections properly. other than that the screen is great. it works properly and fits very well. the included tools helped allot cause I didn't own any till now. the screw drivers are a little magnetic, and it helps a bit.(Update)My speaker dpes not sound the same as it used to. Probably cause of a faulty connection with the old connector. I lowered the rating by a 🌟 cause i dont like having to continuously open my phone to fix or adjust the connector. It woupd be so much better if this product came with its own connection for the speaker.
