A fast, small & efficient flash drive.
Older USB storage is woefully outrun by this small key-chain-able drive. The three attributes I was looking for:Sturdy:I can throw in the briefcase / purse and not worry about bending, breaking, or getting pulled off the keychain. The construction is completely of metal and is the size of the USB plug itself. There is nothing exposed to get hurt while living on your keychain (though I'd gather dunking it in water may compromise its utility).Size:I carry this everywhere so I have access to all of my files around campus. It is smaller than my keys and is exceptionally light weight. Unlike the previous USB drive, this one IS so small it does not feel like it is there getting in the way of my keys when I'm fumbling at my office door.Performance:I show some youtube clips for class and some of them are quite large. I only have 50 minutes for class and don't want to be waiting for a video to load. Also, there are times when I've found the perfect example of X or Y just before class and have 2 minutes to move 125mb from my computer to the drive. The previous drive would take 4-5 minutes (yep that one was old!). This drive accepts 125mb in a matter of seconds. As for the amount of space, I have yet to fill up the 16gb from the previous drive, so I stuck with the 16gb as the price point was just right.I'd highly recommend this drive. It does not come with any metal keychain loops and the hoop through which you attach it to your key ring is somewhat small so you may wish to invest in a tiny keyring to attach it to your larger loop.

Good little drive, Doesn't overheat.
Seems like a great little flash drive. Fast, tiny, and I haven't seen many overheating issues like with most small USB 3.0 drives.I won't post the benchmarks here, but you can see a screenshot of the results at the end of this review. During the 16GB test, the drive did heat up during the sequential read/write section. From touch, I would estimate the temperature of the drive to be about 45C during that section. For electronics, I consider this to be warm, but by no means anything I should be concerned about. I would say that it throttled, though. During the first test, which was a 4GB test, the write speeds were very high; 78MB/s. But in the longer test, this was much lower at 31MB/s. I consider this to be a good thing, as I'd rather have my drive last longer than be fast and overheat. Full benchmarks in the photo section. Also, I really liked the packaging. It was very easy to open, as it was just perforated cardboard on the back of the packaging. I have a picture of this posted.I found a key ring to put on it, and yes, it has to be a thin one or else the ring will be a bit tight, but the one I found works just fine with this drive. For the price, this is a really solid drive. If anything happens in the future, I'll post it below here.

extremely small and good
I have a few of these. They are fast, extremely small and good. Its about double the length of a small blue tooth device for wireless keyboards and mouses.I have had no problems with them besides the extremely small size and extra width giving some problems pulling out of some computers and laptops. Its a bit on the wide side to make a very tight connection (good thing) but gets scratched up real easy on newer laptops when pulling it out (the metal gets scratched). On usb hubs and front usb ports on PC's its normally good and does not get scratched. Depends on the port and what you plug it into. I bring this up because none of my flash drives have ever given me a problem like this before when pulling them out. Since this is a very small device there is not much to hold onto so for some gripping it to pull out may be an issue.Putting it on a car key-chain would really be the only reason to buy this for the end part to go around the metal ring where your keys go. Most 128gb flash drives are just 4 or 5 dollars more, that's double the memory capacity size for the same quality or even better quality. You are basically just paying for the end round thing and the small size to put on key-chains. It gets caught in the wrong direction now and then on the ring but its the smallest light weight option you have to dateOver all its great and I love it even if its slightly over priced at this current time. For a car key-chain to always have usb tech with you its great.

Great low-profile option for Tesla Sentry-cam storage drive
Transcend 32GB JetFlash 710 USB 3.1/3.0 Flash Drive: $10.99 at the time of reviewI was an early adopter of the Model 3 electric car from Tesla. I pre-ordered mine the very first day I could and waited a couple of years for delivery. And you know what? I LOVE it! It was worth every minute of wait and penny of the price. After a little while Tesla enabled the built in cameras to be used as a dash cam to protect you while you drive. But in order to use it, you have to plug a USB drive in to store the video files.I chose this drive because it is tiny. I didn’t want the drive I used to stick out too much for fear that something in that compartment would get stuck on it and break it. Well, I got what I asked for. This little fella is *tiny**What I liked*:As I just mentioned, it fit my desire for a tiny little drive that didn’t take up too much room. It only stuck out like ⅔ of an inch!It worked perfectly for my needs. I just stuck it in the USB port and the car recognized it, formatted it, and started to record to it on my first drive after install.*What I didn't like*:Honestly, the only thing I didn’t like about it was the storage capacity, and that’s not its fault. As it turns out I should have just bought the 64GB version.*The Bottom Line:*This is great drive to record videos to in a Tesla. It’s also tiny enough that if you wanted to keep it on your keychain to have a portable drive, you wouldn’t even notice it’s there. For just over $10 bucks (or just under $15 for the 64GB version), this is a total five stars out of five. I’d definitely buy it over again.
