Perfect Airbnb Game Sets
I bought these games for my Airbnb, they look so great on the game shelf, the metal tins are adorable and will stand up to use way longer than a cardboard box. I want to start collecting all of these!

Classic Candyland for gen x parents
The version from my childhood (70s), but with a double fold board, and packed in a cute tin (I don't remember the gingerbread man markers, but seems like most of the kids' games we played were missing pieces and you had to make do). Like most people my age, I hate the updated version of all classic kids' toys, and the modern version of this is no exception. Seeing the classic game is a relief, and worth the extra ten bucks if you're going to have to look at it for years. While my 2-year-old doesn't quite grasp the game yet, she loves shuffling the cards and "reading" the game board like a book, so still a win until we're able to use it as a game. She often requests Candyland in place of a book, and then tells us a new story from it each time. As a game, it can hold her interest for half a dozen turns, so I suspect she'll be able to play for real in a few months. But my favorite part of the game, honestly, is that she thinks the Molasses Swamp is made of poop and its cattails are hotdogs.

Classic version pricey but worth it
This is the original version of Candy Land and though it is pricey it was worth it. It also comes in a nice tin so no cardboard box to get torn over time.

Durable! Best option to keep your games in excellent condition when they come in a metal container
Well worth the money! Comes in metal box to keep everything organized and eliminates the bulk of those normal cardboard game boxes that wear down. Our kids love this game and actually I do to.

happier now
thought the imagery on modern version of this game (I bought at a box store) was awful, overcrowded, disturbing, not something I'd want a child to look at. This is indeed nostalgic (think Dick & Jane), simple, non-threatening.4-year old is crazy about pirates now, and too young to want to go backwards on the path, so we play that any candy card drawn is a "treasure" and we immediately store it in our "pirate treasure chest" at "home" (so it will be waiting for us whenever we get there) and draw another card. I like the fact that this game is easy to adapt.

meet’s my needs
This is expensive for what you are getting. You could buy the original in a box for a fraction of the cost. The pieces inside are not anything fancy, just plastic like in the box. I bought it for our travel trailer and its nice because it fits well where I need to put it and I don’t have to worry about a box being destroyed over time. The tin is cute and matches several other games I bought from the same manufacturer.
