FUELWORX 47902 Stackable Gas Can/Push Button Vent - 2.5 Gallon

I've been searching for a decent gas can for a while now. This one had some promise, but also has some serious issues.First the things I liked. It's got a great double handle. It's easy to find a way to hold in almost any orientation or height. The shape is great. I prefer shorter and stable gas cans. This one is very good. Too many other cans are too tall and tip over easy. The vent button on the handle is beyond awesome. It give great control of the gas flow while still making the can easy to hold.Things I didn't like, all the safety tabs on the spout and nozzle. They are easy to remove on this can. Maybe they designed it that way on purpose. Cutting them off made the can much more usable. The spring on the spout is way too stiff. I replaced it with a weaker spring from the hardware store. Now it's a one trigger finger without shaking the can all over the place. The spout is a non standard size, not a problem yet, but could be an issues if I ever need a replacement.

This is a nice gas can. Compared to some of the others out there this is your best option. I completely understand the desire to have it be more environmental friendly but this can is the only one that I’ve had that didn’t leak. I had to have it when I saw the back handle. The back handle makes it much easier to use than the other cans and this one has a vent. I don’t know what the rate of flow is but I know it’s the best because I pretty much have had them all. I really like the stacking. Just think you can have them all in one spot taking up very little room. Put this on your must purchase list. This is coming from an old man that’s hard to please. Great Product!

These cans make so much sense that it pains me to think it took this long to have this design come to market. These work perfect stacked for taking fuel to my boat or transporting diesel to multiple machines. The crazy part is that these cans fill my tank as fast if not faster than race juggs! I have only had these cans for a few months now, so I cannot claim any longterm pros or cons. For now, all my other cans that leak all over the place will be donated to neighbors that don't return borrowed tools.

No matter how I tried to screw the spout on, fuel would leak when I attempted to pour fuel into the mower. There is what appears to be a rubber seal in the screw on spout but I could not get either of the cans I tried to seal at all. Also, the plunger on the end of the spout is a great idea but was very difficult to make work properly. I'm a pretty strong guy and it took a lot of effort to pull the plunger back to make the can flow from the spout. While attempting to pull the plunger back, the can was continuously leaking from the screw on seal. My wife was not able to pull the plunger back at all. Some great ideas were incorporated into the can, they just need some tweaking to make work properly.

it is cool to have the side on feature... dont need it though,; I bought it because it was a 2.5 gal container... unfortunately, the can does not fit my work rack... about 2 inches too long...

Be aware, bought 2 of these on 23 July, 2.5 gallon model. Filled them with gas and one of them leaked all over my car. Leaked from the bottom, from the area that you stack them together, cant find the actual leak, it looks like its coming from between the black coating on the bottom and the red plastic material itself. If you are using these, fill them with water to leak check them first. I splurged and bought the $25, 2.5 gallon tanks, thinking they would be worth the money. Not so much, gas all over my car. What a rip-off. Amazon is replacing the defective one, but car still stinks of gas. Don't buy these.

This is a totally substandard product. I have put gas in it twice. After the second time I placed it in my storage shed. I opened that shed today to an overpowering smell of gas. This product was leaking out the bottom and had leaked almost a complete gallon of gas onto the floor of my shed. If I was a smoker this would have really been a bad experience. Unfortunately, it is too late to return this dangerous product. I only picked one star because I could not submit it without choosing a star. It deserves no star!!! It is DANGEROUS.

Really like this new stackable gas can!!! It gives you garage space back because you can stack the cans up on top of each other. This can has a trigger and a vent button that make it easy to control the flow of fuel. Very well built and definitely works better than any can I have ever used. I would highly recommend this can. I will buy more.
