Love them! Work great on my SV650
Got these for my Sv650. I wanted to wait a while before reviewing but these look and work well. I was really worried about them being cheap and plastic but they are metal (aluminum) and seem to be of a high quality. All the bolts have different heads on them, I was confused on that.. but they can be easily tightened and positioned. I park my bike inside every day and have to fold the mirrors in and the bolts did get a tad lose for me. When riding 60+ mph they would adjust but after tightening even more they work just right.I know some people are worried about fit, but installation is straightforward and pretty easy. If your bars are still a bit big for these, make sure both the adjust pieces are stacked on each other. Not sure what I mean? Just reply to this review and I will take mine apart to show you.I'm giving these 4/5 because they fold up a bit but really that's probably because I fold them in 2+ times a day.

Great visability, best upgrade for the price.
I really like these mirrors. The stock mirrors on my 2002 Yamaha FZ1 were only useful for getting a good look at my own shoulder. I could see nothing directly behind me without hanging off the bike while looking in the mirror, which put me in a more dangerous position than just not knowing what was behind me. These were super easy to install and the visibility is outstanding. You can easily fold them back for close parking situations and swing them back out without messing with adjustments. This is the best upgrade for the price that you can buy for any sport/supersport motorcycle. You have to tighten the ball/socket screw pretty hard to keep the mirror from moving under very hard acceleration or at speeds over 100mph, so if you're having this problem just crank that baby down as hard as you can without damaging anything. Once installed, I was able to remove the old stalk mirrors replaced with aluminum block-off plates and now the visibility ahead is also improved! A clear unobstructed view of the road ahead. Do yourself a favor and pick up a set of these mirrors, you won't be disappointed.

They work for Bicycles too!
After searching hours for a good Bicycle mirror I decided to look at what was available for motorcycles that might work on my Trail Bike project. I found these mirrors and took a chance that they would fit and work properly. They fit perfectly and are nearly vibrations free. For the price of a single plastic Bicycle mirror you can get a pair of metal motorcycle mirrors. I can't attest to their weight as I don't count the grams of the items that go on my bike, but I will say I don't think they are particularly heavy. I can adjust these mirrors to see completely behind me as you would expect from a bike mirror however they do have a blindspot once the object gets pass your rear tire. You can mount these two ways 1.) with the expansion insert or 2.) remove the insert and clamp them to the handle bar ends. Either way will allow for plenty of adjustment and use. They also fold for storage and transport adding to the many reasons I like these mirrors. So if you aren't counting the grams and want a great set of bar end mirrors look no further.

Yamaha YZF-R6 bar end mirrors
I ordered these after a month or two of riding around (daily) with a broken OEM mirror my R6was backed into and dropped. a few thousand flaps of my broken mirror in the wind later I installed these. At first look, I thought they were HUGE but they really aren't now that I use ttem. I thought the installation was going to take forever but instead it took like 10 minutes. All I had to do was take out the bar end bolt, take off the bar ends and install the mirrors. Ill admit. I went from looking slightly left and right to check the mirrors(stock OEM) to having to look down and my hands to look behind me. it took like a day for me to get used to that but now I feel its a plus. I pay more attention to the road as opposed to before. I love these mirrors. The one severe drawback is if you go down, your mirror on that end is DONE but then again if thats your biggest worry after going down then youre doing good.Stay safe out there! and remember. loud pipes save lives.

Complete Garbage. Look Elsewhere.
These are complete garbage.- Two of the screws are note accessable without removing the mirror glass. They are attached from the inside out and under the mirror. As far as I can tell the mirror is not meant to be removed.- They are extremely difficult to adjust. Even with the hex screws tightened way down my mirror still had movement. I finally git it to stop moving but it was so tight that I was sure I would strip the screws.- The hex screws on these mirrors are in 3 different sizes adding three more tools you need to carry around with you.- The plug that goes into the bar end is aluminum. It expands from the inside out and is therefore uneven. It does work if you tighten it a lot, but it's not idea. My bar ends used a rubber expander that seems like a better solution for more even pressure and won't damage the bars. The inaccessible screws on mine came loose and the mirror fell off. I was 30 miles from my garage and had no way to secure them on the road. If you still buy these things, take some electrical tape with you so that you can salvage them if they come loose while you're riding. If you're curious, they weigh 0.386 lbs.
