Ordered this about a month ago mainly to use on my very pilly couch. Got it and read the directions, etc. and proceeded to depill my couch cushions. It worked beautifully. Also used it on a mattress pad and several pieces of clothing which required charging it twice. Emptied out the chamber while using and after each job trying to keep it from getting overfilled. After the third time I charged it, it started running slower and slower until it just stopped working. Tried charging it again and had the same problem. Even though I loved the way it originally worked I thought I would have to send it back due to it failing to keep charging after just a few uses. Just double checking and trying to make sure I had done everything I could I removed the third shield that exposes the very sharp blades and there was some debris in there. As soon as that was removed it started whirring again like new. I double checked the instructions to see if I had missed something in emptying the lint. I did the step that is shown in the picture, the written instructions do say something about removing the cover to expose the blade but it isn't worded very well. So if you do purchase this product make sure you clean it all the way down to the blades or it will act like it is not charging. I am hopeful that it will continue to work well now that I know I need to clean it deeper every time. I really love the way it performs and had no issues with it cutting my fabric, and I wasn't overly careful about keeping it tight because most of what I used it for was fairly thick fabric to begin with. I did use it on some thinner stuff and just kept it smooth with my hand and had no problem. Would recommend this product - love the fact that it is rechargeable rather than either replacement batteries or having to have it plugged in to an outlet all the time. I also really like the size of it, the battery options seemed small and the electric options seemed big, this one is just right.

This is incredible! my wife had been looking for a lint removal system for years. I'm so happy that I can finally get this product on Amazon too. Absolutely love this item!I bought a cheaper one first and it did not remove ANY of the fuzz balls from my couch.I decided to pay a little extra and give it a try. It was worth it!This is a perfect set, which includes 2 extra blades and a lint-comb shaver that I love so much.The device is made of a durable material not like the cheap ones, very powerful. It gets the job done faster and efficiently.I was able to save 4 of my favorite sweaters with this device, and also clean my couch!The Twist Handle & Large Shaving Head really makes itconvenient and easy.I wish I had bought this before wasting my money on the cheaper versions.thank you so much this is amazig

I loved this lint remover. It's my first one so I can't give any comparative review. It works really well with removing lint. It also has protective mechanism so that when you clean or change blades the machine will not be accidentally turned on. However, the only reason I'm taking away one star is that the battery is BAD. It says on the manual that full charge required 8 hrs! Freaking 8 hrs! And this will only give you 30 mins of usage.... However I felt even if I charged it for more than 8 hrs, it dies before 30 mins. Also the light that lights up red while charging never change color or disappear or make any indication that the thing is fully charge. You will have to start using the remover to feel the stronger vibration and to see the brighter green light (it shows green while using). The light kinda of slightly fade as the battery dies. However it can also become dimmer if the lint container is full. So overall it works well for its function, but definitely not user friendly.

I can’t believe the difference I saw with this lint remover! The row of cables to the left is the result I got using two different battery powered lint removers and two different types of tools other lint remover tools all combined. The row of cables to the right show the instant results I got with this lint remover.Edit: As I use this I’m discovering it runs out of charge quickly, I can only get about ten minute’s use out of it at a time before I have to stop and put it back on the charger. I’m frustrated and disappointed and will be looking for a different brand when I buy a replacement.

I hate the "pills" that always accompany the wearing of sweaters and a lot of polyester garments. I had a fabric shaver many years ago that was quite tiny. This shaver has a large shaving head and a comfortable, swivel handle that locks into each position. It shaves garments very nicely although care must be taken to avoid damaging the garment. I caused two small damaged spots on two pairs of lounge pants while I learned how best to use it. I've had this for many weeks now and I'm still on the original battery charge! Very useful, easy to use and easy to clean!

Worked well for less than 2 months of moderate use. Has sub-optimal battery life as it would need to be placed on charge after using on one garment. The device just stopped working just shy of 30 days outside of the Amazon return window. What a waste of my time and money.Having a rechargeable device that you use frequently seems like a no-brainer, but I'd advise you to avoid it and go with the tried and true battery operated version. Then invest in some rechargeable batteries instead!

I was a skeptic when I ordered this tool but now I am amazed at how well it works. It has saved several clothing items that I was close to throwing out because they had so much pilling on them but are otherwise in good condition. So, far I have used this tool on several sweaters, stretchy t-shirts, and lounge pants. It has made them look close to new again. It is very easy to use. I am so impressed with this tool that I wish I had ordered it years ago. I recommend keeping the lint compartment clean or it will slow down the motor as it gets too full. Great product! I definitely recommend!
