RoomMates TIL3461FLT StickTiles Chevron Distressed Wood Peel and Stick Tile Backsplash, Multicolor

I used these on the stair risers on my stair case in my home. They look beautiful. I am beginner DIY'er and it turned out great. They are easy to cut. I just used scissors. They adhere very well to un polished wood. I think it turned out beautiful.

These tiles were not worth what I paid. They really don’t look all that great installed. Look cheap and the color is too peach. Wish they looked more like wood. Due to the shape, I had to use too many. And after only a few months they’re coming up on the corners and ends. I’ll probably end up removing them.

I really wanted these to work as I think they are really pretty and I spent well over $100 for enough to complete our project which wasn’t a terribly big area. Unfortunately, as my husband was installing them it was very clear that they were not going to stick well at all. He tried supplementing with super glue and gorilla glue and still couldn’t get them to stick. As you can see in the photo every single seam has raised. They also have a somewhat ‘sticky’ feel to the tops which isn’t appealing. I would never want to use these as backsplash.

This backsplash is the exact color I was looking for a slight variations in the color to give it more texture in the tile as well. It is definitely shinier than advertised- so it really looks like tile more than wood. It is really sticky adhesive, and the I feel as though I wanted to lighten it up since my cabinets and counter are darker. So I grout painted over the gray grout- it is absolutely perfect. I do feel like it was harder to install since the edges are the chevron shape, so you basically have to trim the bottoms off to use as the top.

I just received these and I grossly underestimated how much it will take to complete my fireplace. I went to order more and it won’t allow me to purchase more?! The limit quantity is 4 packs. Why?? That isn’t even enough to complete half of my fireplace. So what am I to do now?? They look beautiful and super easy to use.. this would have been a super easy project and would have looked great once completed.. not now. I’ve wasted time and money on something I won’t be able to complete because there is a limit on quantity purchased. Frustrating.

This is a great option to spruce up a space. These are easy to cut and easy to install. They're very sticky though so get it right the first time lol.

Bought last year and was super impressed with the quality. Bought 5 more packs a week ago and now they are thin and flimsy, not consistently cut, and are nothing more than puffy stickers. Go back to the original!!
