Didn’t work the first time and not knew the second time.
Update: company reached out and offered to send a new unit. I accepted their offer and a brand new unit was sent to me. It was actually a new unit and not another used device. Everything works fine with it so far and I am very pleased with the way the company corrected this issue. Will adjust the rating because of this. Thank you.Received product the 1st time and was brand new in the box. Well, it never worked correctly (would cut off when trying to power it on) and had to contact Amazon about a return/replacement. I received the replacement but it wasn’t new. It was a used product someone had returned and just boxed up again. There are scuff marks on the case and clearly see where rotary bits have been used.Right now it seems that the replacement works fine but not too happy about that it was a used model.

good at what it's supposed to do, but has some flaws
EDIT: fanttik has offered a refund for my purchase. their customer service is top notch and I hope they take my feedback to heart. i'm not out to talk down on the product, I just hope to make it better. their products are catering towards a very specific audience and if they play their cards right, can become a standard for a lot of industries. but for the hobbyist, they all already have eyes on fanttik and I just hope there may be some revisions on this specific part where it's a lot easier to use and makes projects easier, not more tedious. because of their recent interactions with me, i've updated my review from 3 star to 4.for context, i do a lot of tinkering. i 3d print a lot of things, i build a lot of things, you get the drill. i was on the fence of refreshing my dremel kit with this unit. i've purchased and used fanttik tools before and love the quality. the extra bit of price is worth it. when i saw this tool drop, i knew i had to get it. but not at the $80 pricepoint when it first launched. it's currently april 10th and the price corrected down to $60, but I still feel it's a tad bit overpriced.firstly, the pros. i've only used the grinders included in the kit. so far, so good. battery holds a good charge and the click/press release that fanttik likes to do works well in this case. no pun intended.now the cons. turning the unit on, you have to turn a knob at the top of the tool. in previous tools, that same knob was used to change the rotary speed and turning on your electric screwdriver was as easy as the press of a button. with this new dremel tool, you have to physically turn that knob to turn the tool on. THEN you have to press the button to get the dremel spinning. might not be such a big deal for a quick part cleanup, but when you're using the tool to constantly sand/grind, fit, grind, fit, grind fit, it gets annoying having to put your part down just to turn the tool off via the knob. you would think that they would opt to use a momentary switch instead or the button on the tool toggles between 1-5 speeds and then an off state, but no, you have to carefully turn the tool off with the knob once it's been turned on. i'm not sure why they opted to do it like that. maybe because the nature of the electronics needing a good amount of power to operate and the knob acts as a sort of cutoff for the internal battery to the board. regardless, very tedious to use when you're doing a lot of fit and finishing.secondly, the chuck head can get difficult to assemble if you remove the little plastic covers. they don't fit very well until you can get the 2-piece plastic shrouds on properly. a quick-release option would have been nice here. or an all-metal chuck instead of a hybrid metal/plastic system.lastly, it's worth mentioning again that there are no momentary buttons to actually spin the toolhead when the knob is on. i consider that and the power knob two separate issues. i want to be able to put the tool in my hands and turn the rotary attachment with the press of a finger, then have it stop spinning when i release the button. but again, i would need to put the part down in order to turn the tool off. even worse, the button placement is at the top of the tool, opposite where my fingers rest. so even changing speeds, you can't do it at an easy press of the button. you still have to put the part down to change the speed. again, not a big deal for a quick sanding, but most people would not buy this tool for quick jobs like that. i feel this tool is more marketed at hobbyists who would be using this constantly in one session.all in all, i still am somewhat satisfied with the purchase, especially because my old dremel motor burnt out. but if you don't need the fanciness, go for a cheaper dremel unit, something usb powered and can be recharged. they're about 50% cheaper. you're mostly paying for hype and sleekness here.

Compact Powerhouse for Precision Work
I’ve been using the Fanttik F2 Master Mini Rotary Tool for a while now, and I love it! It’s small but super strong, and I use it for all sorts of things like sanding, polishing, and even some light engraving on my 3D prints. It’s really easy to use and has 5 different speeds, so I can pick the right one for what I’m working on. The tool also comes with 35 different bits, and they’re all neatly organized in a cool stand, so I can always find what I need. It’s really light, so I don’t get tired using it for long projects. Plus, it charges quickly, and the battery lasts a long time. I also wear a special hat while working on my 3D prints, and this tool has been great for helping me add those little extra details that make my prints stand out!If you need a tool that’s small but powerful, I totally recommend the Fanttik F2 Master!
