This guide is helpful when setting off on your Pokémon Let's Go adventure for the first time. The guide does a great job of showing you all the secrets for advancing through the game, as well as what to expect in each town, gym, and route.This guide includes a PokéDex, which is helpful for finding out which Pokémon learn certain attacks when leveling up and where to find the Pokémon species. At the time of this review, other Pokémon sites do not have this updated information yet.The guide shows you which Pokémon you can find on the routes to help you complete your PokéDex, and how to best obtain them. One thing that is missing from the guide however is what Pokémon that the trainers use on the routes as well as what attacks the Gym leader's Pokémon know. In the past, this information help when planning how to advance in the games. But, the guide does a great job about going into detail of what to expect in each town, gym, and route. You will be able to see what Pokémon you will encounter in the wild, who you will battle in the gym, and how many trainers you can face on each route to level up your Pokémon.The guide also has extra sections explaining some of the game's mechanics for trainers who wish to know more about Pokémon. The guide touches on how different Pokémon have different stats, natures, and a few other basics. A neat feature at the end of the guide is the interview with Pokémon creators as well as concept art for the games!Overall this guide is helpful and I'd recommend it for everyone. There's information for beginning trainers to help them understand Pokémon, intermediate trainers who want to get the most out of the game, as well as experts who will love the concept are at the end of the guide!

Received the guide in sealed plastic- no condition issues. As the owner and user of the original Red/Blue guide back in the day and guides/versions that followed, this a great guide for Let’s Go and covers everything you need to know. Let’s Go is my first grade child’s first Pokémon game. My child is an advanced reader but I didn’t really expect the guide to be used by my child for anything other than pictures...now it’s being studied! Easy enough reading and concise enough for beginners to understand and learn, and detailed enough for the experienced to enjoy and appreciate. The pull out map is handy and printed on cardstock with a Type Matchup Chart on the back. The bookmark and badge stickers do not disappoint either. I wish the cover was a little thicker as it has already begun to curl, but it’s shiny and has a nice texture so I don’t mind. Whether this is a nostalgic romp for you or you are helping your own youngster become a Pokémon trainer, this guide has something for everyone.

I love, LOVE this guide! It gives everything you want. Great help and walkthrough for the game, along with easy to read maps, and it is well laid out, versus some of the more confusing small font crammed layouts of other guides.And then you get the awesome bookmark and stickers!And if that wasn't enough, this includes a whole special content section with an exclusive interview with Game director, Masuda, plenty of pictures and concept art. This is more than just a Strat guide, it should really be called a collector's guide that's how comprehensive and filled with unique special content it is. Honestly, I will eagerly buy any guide they do in the future!

This guidebook is a must have! It really hits you with a blast of nostalgia from owning the old Pokemon Gameboy games and using a strategy guide back then. Full of colorful pictures and detailed instructions on each part of the game. You don't necessarily need it for the main story, but it is useful for post game events, items, and Pokemon stats.A very cool part of this book as well is the concept art featured in the back pages! It's hard to find this concept art in some places, so you can freely see it here. Featuring characters, towns, and item art that shows the fun that was put into crafting these old characters into new fleshed out versions.

I’ve used every guide since the original Red/Blue versions. I think this one is average and contains basic information but nothing stunning.Pros:- Format is magazine-style and easy to read- Contains information about what spawns in each area- Contains a decent Pokédex including movesets- Interesting section on concept artCons:- Missing a badge sticker on page one- Map is in the middle of the guide instead of an end, leaving a perforated edge that makes it hard to flip through- No shiny hunting guide, just a paragraph explaining shinies- No specific item locations, just marked with a list. Also does not show hidden item locations, just a list of ones found in an areaOverall it’s a decent guide for a beginner. Out of nearly 400 pages only about 85 pages are a walkthrough. A good half is the Pokédex.

Guide is well written and easy to understand trading evolutions and each pokemon is displayed easy with all move sets how to obtain and their evolutions including the mega evolutions. As for the comment someone wrote about no map for master trainers that is incorrect. There is 2 full page maps displaying every location of those trainers.While the pages are thin and this is going to get alot of wear and tare I'm happy to see a paper guide being put out w huh en many companies making them have stopped.

I brought this book via Vicky's bargains via Amazon marketplace, it said it would take upto 5 days to reach me yet it was here next day, very fast delivery, book was all sealed and in brilliant condition, I will definitely buy from Vicky's bargains again (it's a brand new shop when I brought my item with no reviews) I'm happy to give this shop 5* without hesitation, the book itself is a great help in telling you which pokemon you can catch in each area, if you like strategy books (I like to have them personally) then I highly recommend, you wont miss any pokemon or item with this book

I was confused with things from the game, I don't know much about pokemon, hehe, so the guide is helping me. It has good maps and describes the teams we have to face, so now I can better prepare my teams.

My primary school child loves this book. He uses the maps and information as he plays the game on Switch, and enjoys studying the pokedex and other info at leisure even when he's not playing the game. It's interesting and gives lots of helpful hints while still allowing the reader/player to use brain power to strategize and figure things out. We're happy with this purchase!
