Solid and good-looking for the money, but boy what a ride to get here!
This unit is solid and made better than average for an "assemble it yourself" deal. It looks good in our corner, and has a surprising amount of storage space. That said, the "getting it here" part had some bumps. When the package arrived, well: What I expected was a big burly box with a wall of padding material between the box and the parts inside; What I got was a not very big box with all the corners crushed in, and *shattered* pieces of mahogany-finished particle board and fiber board that had apparently been packed right up against the cardboard visible through the divots. Needless to say, I sent the first one back. The second time, I got the box I was now expecting, with still-crushed in corners. This time, I was desperate, because we were having guests in a few days, so I decided to unpack it and see if maybe the broken boards I could see sticking out might be in less-visible places on the unit. I opened the box, and was instantly covered, head to toe, in particles of ground styrofoam packing sheets. It took me over an hour just to get all the parts out and the styrofoam vaccumed free of the parts, the floor, me, and the ceiling. Once I did this, I discovered that I wasn't sure if I wanted to kiss or murder the person responsible for packing at Home Source, because I discovered that all parts were completely intact, but that the mahogany-finished boards from around the outside of the box were actually sacrificial packing materials, not parts of the unit.I was happy to have my undamaged product, but a tad chagrined at the lost weekend on the one I sent back! Also, I think I may have developed a styrofoam allergy from the massive exposure...Otherwise, be prepared for a slightly challenging assembly process. There were over 25 structural components, and *bags* of hardware lettered A-Z. There was also an assembly manual with approximatley two sentences of text, neither one of which was remotely intelligible (Something about "most the important dowel use", I think?), and 14 steps, each of which has six to tem activities. While complex, it's a relatively straightforward process, so the pictures generally suffice.Important Notes:1) Get your own wood glue for the "most important dowels", because the one tube they give you runs out less than half-way through.2) Do *NOT* lose any hardware, because there are *NO* extras, of *ANYTHING*. I spent 20 minutes digging in the garbage for a pair of screws that rolled out of one of the 26 bags of hardware into my waste pile...All in all, I'm quite happy with the result, regardless of how arduous the process getting here was!

Very very happy with this product!
It’s exactly what I was hoping for. I put it together by myself, so you don’t need two people, although the top section was pretty heavy once it was assembled. I am tall so I managed, but if you’re short you might need an extra pair of hands. It does take some time, so don’t be in a hurry. If you follow the instructions everything comes together perfectly. Do the steps in order. All of the pre drilled holes lined up exactly. It comes packaged very securely, nothing was damaged. Something important to know is that the finish has a subtle wood grain texture, and I’m very happy with that, but if you’re looking for ultra modern style, it may not appeal to you. You really can’t see that effect in the photos on the website. Also the little tape covers for some of the hardware are pretty flimsy, but everything you’re supposed to cover is against the walls anyway, so don’t waste your time applying them. They’d serve better if they were made of laminate.

Just as described
Order this because we needed to fill a corner in our kitchen and could not be more happy with what we received. Looks exactly like the pictures had promised and fits our bar needs perfectly.Set up was a bit long and doesn’t require two people but definitely will speed things up.

Exactly What I Hoped For
I wanted a small corner bar for my dining room that wouldn't take up a lot of space. There are a lot of options out there. Some are significantly cheaper, but aren't enclosed. I recommend storing glasses in an enclosed cabinet so they don't get dusty, so I decided to pay a little more for this model. Very happy! It's super heavy, but I still put it all together by myself in just a couple hours. The directions are good and easy to follow. You will have to be able to lift a couple awkward pieces that weight 40 pounds, so it requires a little effort. It does NOT come with lighting, but I purchased a little 3 light kit and installed it myself. Really adds a lot to the unit.

Really look nice
They look great in our kitchen. had a wall that was fairly bland, but being worked on. One shipped had a cracked mirror, and the company took care of it quickly and efficiently (picture still shows crack, but just received replacement about 10 min before putting this review in. Putting it together was fairly easy, but a second set of hands would be wise. The Turn locks are very cheap metal, and you cannot place to much torque on them without the metal giving way, but they get in there and lock it up pretty solid. Instructions are very easy for me to follow although I did find one error, but its minor. Basically it said to use a small peg in 2 big peg holes, but enough big pegs to use them in that hole, so obviously a typo. Very happy with this purchase. Still considering putting some small stick on LED lights for entertainment purposes.
