Good for an activity with grand kids

Perfect gift my 8 year old, clean, simple and easy to use pages!

This is a cute item for young children. It has thirty pages but each page has a front and back. At the top of the page is a box for drawing in and below that a half page of lines to write the story on. It is a good in-house activity when raining outside brings on whining inside. I set up a pencil caddy with regular leaded pencils with cute cartoon erasers on top, some colored pencils, an eraser and some white out tape rolls, pencil sharpener and some yellow sticky paper so that my grandson has all his tools together when he wants to write in his book. There are dozens of these available here at Amazon along with plenty of writing tools. IMO an inexpensive way to not only keep youngsters busy but to encourage creativity!

My 10 year old daughter loves to draw up comics and write her own stories. She has done it for a few years and I saw this when I was shopping for a friend's 6 year old daughter. So I got a few of these for my friend's daughter and decided to get this for my daughter. They both love it. It allows them to visualize their own story/comic in a different way. I will be getting more of these. They are worth it when you see the children respond to them in such a positive way.

My kids like these! Each page has is split in half top to bottom with lines on bottom and box on top, so you can write the story and draw a picture to go with. My kids love them and feel very cool writing their own book. I personally cannot stand how the cover feels but that's my weirdness and kids don't seem to care.

Bought these for my boys 5 and 7. They love to draw and write stories. Each uses their book at their own level. Plenty of room to draw. Plenty of room to write.

I gave these as gifts at Christmas. Was impressed with the quality & amount of pages.
