Collapsible Water Dam (5) (Water Stopper, ADA Wheelchair Accessible Shower Threshold)

I ripped out my bathtub and installed a level entry shower, which really needed effective water management. My handyman cursed a little bit while installing this (he used silicone) because it came packaged rolled up, which made it difficult to uncurl and lay straight. But from a user's point of view it's excellent!! Keeps water off the bathroom floor, and I can step right on it or drag my weak foot over it, and it gives and never hurts.

I installed the water dam in my low entry shower stall. The instructions were easy to follow although it should include which side should face the shower. I found a you tube about installation that referenced which way. It was easy to install and has helped keep my shower curtain inside the shower.

This rubber stripping is low quality. The end started to pull off of the floor after three weeks..Because we have a stone floor, the water would still leak under it. Not worth the $40!

I bought this to use in my walk in shower. It works great but after a month we had to remove and use a stronger 2 way tape to keep it down. If I was you I would right out the box get gorilla 2 sided tape and place it in place with that because the 2 sided tape on the product isnt really that sticky. Yes I followed the directions and it was placed in a brand new shower so there really wasnt much to clean before hand.

The instructions are a little to be desired. We had to use gorilla glue tape along with the adhesive tape on the back of the stay dry. Be sure to clean the surface with rubbing alcohol.Works wonders and was a lifesaver for us!

Hard to determine its quality as I'm still trying to unfurl it. Considering that it will be expected to adhere, that process becomes difficult due to it being rolled up for an extended period. Rolled rubber isn't easy to get it to lie flat.

Does a great job, mostly sticks, may need some additional super glue or other adhesive if one side doesn’t properly adhere. Considering that it didn’t completely stick despite following instructions, could be a bit cheaper, but overall a great product.

This strip doesn't do much. I tried the solutions other reviewers suggested such as using gorilla double sided tape to adhere the strip to the shower floor and that didn't help much. The strip peeled itself off almost immediately. It doesn't get close enough to the wall so water still leaked through. I'm going to have to keep searching for a solution to our water leaking out of the shower.
