This was one of the best purchases that I have ever made! I lowkey want to buy one for work so that I can take my blood sugar throughout the day. Currently, I can only use it at home because I like to test myself in the morning when I wake up.

Assuming it’s accurate, it worked great out of the box. No problems. I like that I can choose the depth of the finger poke.

Seems reliable and very quick results. Easy to use. Can store up to 500 readings in the memory. Comes with (10) Test Strips, (10) 30-gauge Lancets

This machine is simple and easy to use, and actually includes strips as well as lancets so it’s a complete starter setup with everything you need. I love that it uses a button cell. They are the only battery I never run out of, because they seem to last nearly forever.

Worked once then had E2 error code. Followed the error code corrective directions and it still didn't work.

I'm looking for a new Glucometer hoping to find one I like better than my old one. This kit is inexpensive but it's basic and only comes with 10 strips. I only wanted to try it out so it served my purpose. I didn't have to buy the full kit with bluetooth just to see if I liked it. I don't think the meter display and function is as good as my old one, so I'll keep looking. At least I didn't have to spend too much to find out.

Like a lot of other reviewers already have mentioned the first thing I want to point out if you are considering getting this machine, is it comes with a very small supply of lancets and testing strips. If you go the route I did and buy extra supplies separately while that will work you just end up spending more than if you get one of the other versions of this meter. I suggested grabbing the one with 100 strips, and the Bluetooth option.This item comes with a zippered bag for storage which I appreciated, I felt it was an affordable item and you get what you pay for. The machine comes with automatic strip ejection for sanitary disposal. I liked that it was ready to use right out of the box. I think one of its better features is that it has the options to set alarms for reminders of when you need or should test again.I have tried several machines over the years and I didn’t find this one super painful, it was about average with others I have used. I do want to mention that the lancing devices that are included are slightly different then what I am used too but they still fit and worked just fine.I think if you are just starting out needing a machine for testing and are looking for an affordable option this machine will be great for that. But I still suggest since this will be a long term investment choosing the machine with the 100 strips/lancets and even grabbing the Bluetooth option; you will be glad you did down the line.Personally, this is going to make a great little back up machine for me and I am happy to have it!The reason it is getting 4 stars instead of 5 is the lack of a good amount of extra supplies, and that it didn’t include control solutions and calibrating liquid to get those accurate settings during its first time setup and testing.
