Q: Can you take the smaller bobbin side out and just use it for storage?

The bottom of mine has a foam insert that comes out. I leave it in and use it to store all of my bobbins.

Q: Will bobbins for 221 feather weight fit in this case

I don't know how different those bobbins are from standard bobbins. This case has a piece of foam with holes cut out for the bobbins. So they are quite flexible.

Q: What size spool of thread does thing case hold

It will hold small and medium thread spools. I use the top part for sewing items. Like scissors, ruler, seam ripper, chalk, etc. The Sulky Slim Thread holder is a wonderful companion to the bobbin holder.

Q: How many yards do the bobbin and thread spools have on them?

Thread is NOT included! This is just a holder for the thread & bobbins you own!! The case comes EMPTY!
