It definitely doesn't have 1000x magnification, however it still has a lot of magnification, is light, and small, very clear image, and overall works well, and is definitely worth the cost.

I really love this microscope, I look at coins through it and you can really see the small details perfectly. I love that it has a memory chip and it charges with a USB that it comes with. I really recommend this product.

It works really well once you figure everything out. The instructions are lacking in any information. It is trial and error. The price point is spot on for the quality. It is a bit flimsy, but for the hobbyist it is perfect. We use it for rock collecting to see the different mineral types. I would have given it 5 stars if the instruction had any value.

For the price this thing is wonderful! The magnification was excellent, the light is helpful, the battery was a bonus (didn’t realize it had a battery when I ordered it). I mostly plan to use it soldering. I tested it out just setting a card under it and dialing in the focus. It seems like it will do great. My kids were surprisingly interested and so we looked at a few things under it as well. I’m considering giving them this one and picking up another for myself. Anything to encourage curiosity and learning!

At first I was extremely happy to get this product. But then after seeing the lack of info in the guide it sent as well as the focus knob not really working. I started to feel like I made a mistake more than actual excitement for the product. I’d say it isn’t to bad but I would definitely do more research and spend the extra 10 or 20 bucks for something better next time. This will do for now. Still debating though if I want to send it back and just get a refund and get a better one. I will say for some coin collectors it’s not to bad to start with. Just make sure the focus knob works or you will be stuck at the same height with the stand!The photos are mine taken from my phone. I have yet to figure out how you can take pictures on this thing. So as you see the image isn’t to bad and it is a decent product for certain things. Coin collecting would be one if you are just looking for something quick, cheap, and easy to use.Update: I figured I’d update this review. I have yet to use this product again Bc it is just so cheap and came broken for the most part and have yet to hear anything back from the sellers. Save your money and spend it else where! Spend the extra 20 bucks or so and get a good quality one. So fair warning when getting this. Only get if you want something cheap with zero instructions and cheap knobs and poor quality and are just starting out and don’t want to spend much money until you see if you’ll even use something like this regularly. Also just noticed they’ve even raised the price a smidge. Lol. Just yeah spend your money else where.
