Too unsteady when fully extended.

Not worth it’s money

I don't know about kids nowadays, but when I was at school, back in the 70's, making something in woodwork class to present to your parents at end of term was a right of passage, of course, they would say how wonderful it was and however talented their little angel was, but we knew the moment our back was turned it would be firewood.I'm afraid this puts me very much in mind of my early attempt..The assembly "Manual" is an illegible one sided photocopy with zero in the way of instruction and a couple of line drawings that don't resemble what you are putting together.Still, it wasn't rocket science and after 10 minutes I had a C table which I'm sure my wife will refuse to keep in the house when she sees it as it has zero aesthetic value though it is fairly sturdy if one takes ones time with the screwdriver..I had planned on using it as a side table next to my bed but it isn't quiet high enough so I shall now try to convince my better half that it will make a reasonable projector stand.If you are starting out and have little money it will serve a purpose until you can afford better, but I doubt you will grow to love it.How I Rate- ***** Don’t think, just buy it!- **** Nothing to complain about, I’d spend my own money on this.- *** Does what it should but there may be better alternatives- ** Problems or issues encountered that outweigh any benefits.- * Run for the door!

The base of this table needs to be heavier than the table itself to be sturdy enough and be a competent table to hold items like a phone or tablet.As more weight is added to the table and as it is extended, it's common sense this table becomes top heavy, and the base needs to be heavier than what it's holding.The instructions are an absolute joke!Illustrated 'instructions' with no text, doesn't really show how to build thus.The top table is movable and swings, which is benefical in someways, and not in others as it cannot be locked in one position.It does seem somewhat a bit of a useless and unstable table, unless you have a spare sand bag to weigh it down.On the positive side, a decent reusable screwdriver was included with the table.

This side table is such a nice size. It's small enough for storing away and handy enough to hold.a variety of items. You can.adjust height of table and move for your liking when needed. Good price for this wooden table.
