xBloom Flat Bottom Premium Filter Paper

I buy these because I have an xbloom studio, but I would buy these for a kalita 155 as well if I had one. These filter papers are thick feel super premium - nicer than any other filter paper I've tried. They are stiffer than the kailta 185 filter papers I have, which in comparison feel like tissue paper. The stiffness helps in several ways. First it helps the filter paper sit securely under the lip of the omni dripper. The way it fits so perfectly is very satisfying. Secondly, it makes it easier to grab one filter from a bunch. You can flip through the papers like you flip through a stack of papers because the filters are stiff and precisely cut. In comparison, my generic-brand kalita wave 185 papers arent precisely cut so you cant flip through them. Secondly, because theyre so thin, it's hard to pick out a single filter sometimes which is pretty annoying. Overall, I intend on only using these for the xbloom omni dripper and I hope they never stop making these.

I love this filters for my xBloom studio. They work great and I love that I can use my own coffee beans with the machine using this filters. I will always get them from Amazon.

I have used these filters (and occasionally, Kalita 155) for over 6 months and have never had any issues with them. Sometimes the filters spring out of the dripper when dry, but a small amount of water and negotiation helps them fit snug. I almost always find proper extraction and no difference in taste between these and any other filters I use on manual brewers.

Every home should have a xbloom.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:nice fit and quality from xbloom, package damaged during transit but content in mint condition.

I actually got these not quite realizing their size but they do manage to fit ok in a regular coffee maker. If you’re only using about 3 tablespoons of coffee none spills out and the water (a little over 12oz) still goes over the beans and drips well through the filter. The filter does fine with the coffee and there is no strange taste or anything in the coffee, so far it tastes the exact same as any other filter. Overall good quality for the amount I’m using it for, I would say though make sure of the size and amount of coffee you’re wanting to use it for.
