I'm writing this review because Torchstar included a card with my delivery asking me to review. The product is fine except it is not what the product description stated. I bought these as 50/100/150 watt three way bulbs. What I received are 40/60/100 watt bulbs. I'll deal with it but someone needs to proof the copy before posting. Because it was a different from the description I only gave it three stars.

A very pleased with the way the bulbs perform. The lowest level of brightness is very easy on the eyes when the lamp needs to be turned if you awaken at night. And the highest level illuminates the room nicely.

I've always been annoyed by the short lifespan of traditional incandescent 3-way bulbs. Hopefully this LED bulbs solves that problem. The only issue that I've noticed is that on the brightest setting there's a little bit of a hum, but nothing that you notice without having your head very close to the lamp. Overall I love the lower energy consumption, nice warm light and most importantly, longer projected lifespan than the bulbs they replaced.

Does exactly what they are supposed to. Love having LEDs replacing old incandescent 3 ways.

brighter bulbs with less power

At the price I paid, they should last several years. I put one of these bulbs in my new floor lamp, use the 40W and it's a nice, soft glow in my living room. All 3 intensities are just right, so I recommend these bulbs providing they last. At this price, I expect to be an old geezer before it burns out!

It's a little weird LED bulbs take a second to come on, but overall I like the quality of light even more than regular bulbs.

I had been frustrated with LED's when it came to my three way lamps. These light bulbs work perfectly. Three levels, a nice clear light and a happy wife. Everything.
