Excellent Balsamic Vinegar. But . . .
This is the best tasting balsamic vinegar I have ever tasted. It's got a thick consistency, a bit more like syrup. It comes it the cutest bottle with a cork and glass dispenser and a handy little (very cute) cork stopper. But here's the rub--it's loaded with sugar. I imagine that's part of what makes it thick and it's definitely what makes it so sweet. Regular balsamic vinegar has about 2mg of sugar per tablespoon. This vinegar has a whopping 12 mg per tablespoon. So if you're diabetic, beware. I'm not diabetic, but I have to watch my sugar intake due to CKD. I still use this but I just add a couple of drops to my regular balsamic for the flavor boost.

Great taste and great value for the money!
Got this for my wife for Christmas. She loves Balsamic Vinegars and she says this one is EXCELLENT. She also thinks that it is great Vinegar for the price point. The first one I ordered appeared to have leaked so I contacted the company and their customer service was excellent.

My go-to balsamic vinegar!
I love using this on salads as an alternative to high calorie, high fat dressings. It is adequately thick and tangy and you don't need a lot of it. It's on the sweeter side, but I like that. I highly recommend it.

Good on pizza and meats. Not practical for salad
I enjoyed it, but I poured a little out and added a tablespoon of maple syrup to add smokiness. Great stuff. Price has gone up now, but i got this for 16$.

Balsamic Vinegar is amazing, CORK BREAKS!
I purchased this after trying it at a family member’s house. It is the most delicious balsamic vinegar I’ve ever tried. I don’t feel like I need to say much given all the other rave reviews. I wanted to review because the CORK BREAKS! After the first time I got a refund from Amazon and ordered again right away. The same thing happened with the second bottle! I tried to be extra careful with the new one but it didn’t make a difference. I hope that’s a defect with just this batch but I thought people should know.

Lovely, sweet flavor
I wanted to make a pH-adjusted balsamic syrup for cocktails and opted for this vinegar because it seemed to be very high quality. I had previously made the syrup using mid-grade organic balsamic from my local grocery store and found it to be off-putting and astringent. I hoped that this duo balsamic would make for better results.I was not disappointed. The pH adjustment (raising from an initial pH of 2 to a pH of ~5) was challenging because the viscosity of the vinegar made the microfoam long-lived. After the foam eventually settled I used my refractometer to measure the sugar content to see how much I needed to add to reach 50 Brix. To my surprise, the vinegar already had a high sugar content, just above my target. Syrup complete! The outcome was delicious and complex, exactly what I had in mind. Very pleased with this vinegar.

Great taste.
I hesitated purchasing this product because it was more expensive than any other balsamic vinegar I’ve ever used. However, since I make salads five times a week at least I thought I’d give it a try last night. I had a salad with candied pecans, cranberries, and blue cheese, and drizzled the balsamic vinegar over my salad and it was divine. I love that. It comes with this little poor spout, so that you have total control of how much comes out of the bottle. This stuff is liquid gold!!!

Very nice Aceto....
I have bought several bottles of "Due /Oro Gold", and have been very satisfied. It has a nice viscosity, clings to food, and has an excellent flavor- having a good balance of sweet to sour. I use it when I cook, and for salads, and finishing everyday dishes. I have tried several companies and have been pleased enough to make Due Oro Gold my go to balsamic. It is an excellent value for the cost ($20-25), and I find nothing else in this price range is quite as tasty-- inexpensive enough for cooking, and salads. For roasting or searing Filet Mignon, or Beef or Pork Tenderloin, I use La Secchia 5 star, which costs about 2x ($43) the price...... but it is even thicker, and more flavorful.Buon Appetito,Joseph
