Campbell's Chunky Soup, Manhattan Clam Chowder, 18.8 oz Can (Pack of 4)

Pretty good for canned chowder. Don’t see it in the store anymore just the New England style.

Funny, I actually ordered this by mistake; I was supposed to get Hubby a New England Clam Chowder and got it confused w/the Manhattan variety. He wouldn't even try it.. said he only liked the New England type. Well, I'm stuck w/it, right? So I decided to eat it myself, even though I've never liked his New England clam chowder. WOW, what a surprise, this stuff was just delicious!! I'm ordering more when I finish this review. Even the broth/soup part is fantastic - really tasty. Granted, I didn't see nor taste any clams, but I didn't care when it was that good. (I don't care for clams anyway, lol.) But there were several veggies in it, and it made quite a filling lunch for me, so I'm looking fwd to more....

I found this soup to be good, but a bit thin with a slight canny taste,you can betterCFV

Really good soup, and very hard to find elsewhere. I was glad to locate it on Amazon.

Hard to open cans bent

I grew up going to seafood places every week, and I've had lots of clam chowder and this is as good as any I've had both here (NJ) and in New England.. I usually eat pizza every night but had this last two nights in a row, I enjoyed it so much.

can dented, possible botulism
