I don’t usually write reviews, but this deserves all five stars and then some.I’m a white woman who has been burned by more than a few so-called “exfoliating” products. Scrubs, gloves, dry brushes—you name it, I’ve tried it. Nothing ever gave me that real full-body exfoliation I was chasing. But then I ended up on Black Girl Shower TikTok (blessed be, because Black women have never steered me wrong), and I saw this magic cloth getting hyped. Naturally, I ran to Amazon.Y’all. I felt the difference while I was still wet. Not a “hmm, maybe I feel smoother after drying off and moisturized self-deception” situation—actual texture left my body. Texture I thought was just… my skin. It didn’t hurt, it didn’t fall apart, and the quality is fantastic.Yes, it had a bit of a smell out of the package, but a quick wash and it vanished. The size is perfect—I could get my whole back without dislocating a shoulder or summoning a ghost for assistance. I got the purple one and it’s stunning.Honestly? 10/10. Buying more. Gifting them. Possibly writing a sonnet. This bath net changed my shower game forever.

I think we all should be required to wash with the African Net Sponge from now on. I used to use a loofah, and this just throws it right out of the water. It’s soft but durable, and doesn’t harbor bacteria like a loofah. Plus, you can wash it and it basically lasts forever (yes, a cloth can too, but it lacks the exfoliation you need in the shower). It’s long and stretchy so you can scrub your back, or you can scrunch it together if you want to wash a smaller area. Overall, I just feel so clean and smooth after I get out of the shower. I will never go back! I bought these for most of my friends and family and they’re all HOOKED. Just get it already!

Just got this today and was so eager to use it! Wow!! Before, I was using those common bath sponges that are netted. While using the African sponge, I can actually feel the little knots and it feels like I’m ACTUALLY scrubbing my skin versus rubbing soap all over, if that makes sense?! It’s not too abrasive, it feels just right. My skin felt mildly tingly but in a good way, like it stimulated circulation.I can’t wait to keep using this sponge. This is absolutely legit and felt the difference in my bathing experience after one use! Get it!!

I was skeptical with all the social media "hype" I've been seeing about this product so I decided to give it a try & baaaby? I'm so mad I didn't buy this sooner. Gone are those washcloths that I thought were the best, hello to the new found replacement. If you thought you were getting clean with whatever you're currently using? You are being fooled if you're not using this right here. Cause this here is something different. It's no comparison to the old "loofah" sponges you can buy for $2 at any Walmart, oh nooo. These are str8 from the Motherland & don't hold bacteria in them. Just buy it & try it. The stretch to be able to wash your back is amazing

I love this! It makes my skin feel very soft and smooth! Personally I don’t see any dirt coming off and maybe that’s because I shower regularly but it makes my skin feel very clean and smooth after showering. It’s a great exfoliating and it doesn’t take much to clean it. I recommend boiling some water in a pan and letting the net sit in it for 5 minutes. Now it does have a weird smell but that’s where the boiling water comes in to clean and sterilize it. The material is not too rough giving that it needs to exfoliate your skin. I’ve only had for about a month now but I love it!

I got the white one since I would be able to see any buildup or bacteria if any appears. I have used and had this for a month and it has helped me clean my back which I was not able to do. I like how I am able to stretch it without worrying about it ripping (the material is strong). The ties in the net helps with the exploliating part however, I would like for it to be more sharper or rough so that it cleans more. The material is soft and there is no smell to it. I would reccomend that you boil it in hot water or clean it first with hot water before use. It is effective in cleaning my back but I think its hard to hold the sponge in hand when cleaning other parts of the body. The size is good.

I usually don’t leave reviews but this warrants one! This produces such a luxurious lather in the shower. It’s long enough to wrap all the way around your back and shoulders. The suds rinse away nicely once you’re done to keep it fresh and clean and it dries fast! Great to use across your back or you can scrunch it up like a pouf! My new go to!

This is my second African exfoliator. My first one was soft and I felt like it wasn't an exfoliating my skin. This one is perfect, not too soft and not too rough. For the value of money, it was a decent price. I would say before use PLEASE PRE WASH it. I brought the color black and when I was pre-washing it, the black residue coming off of it. It was a lot.
