Quality upgrade
Quality Maglite original upgrade kit that I used on my 3 D cell torch. Bright beam that mimics the original filament lamp. Perfect replacement and will last years. Recommended

Not the best
Silver threaded cover don’t fit so had to use the original one which is ridiculous.Light isn’t brilliant so maybe look for something different

Brighter light and batteries should last longer
My 3×C cell battery maglite torch is about 30 year old and the threaded retainer cap did not fit has it was loose fitting. Used some PTFE tape on the thread and electrical tape on the outside. Works OK

Prince of darkness
Thought I'd give the mag lite a new lease of life & went for OEM lamp.Does what it says on the tin.But compared to my other mag lite, with an led. There is no comparison.
