Top Notch Rangefinder for the Price
(This is not a paid review)I was a bit skeptical when the product first arrived however, after a few rounds on the course my skepticism was completely unfounded. After getting used to how the device works, I was surprised how quick it locks on to the flag. You hold the button down and scan at the flag and it will vibrate and lock when it has detected the flag.I did get a couple erroneous readings but that's to be expected, even with $500 rangefinders.Speaking of $500 rangefinders, during my last round this Profey rangefinder was reading within 0.2yds of rangefinders that cost 4-7x as much. Needless to say the accuracy is there, and it is just as quick to range as the others as well. The slope switch and functionality is definitely handy, though I had some issues with this one. Sometimes, it seemed to not detect any angle, even when the pin was roughly 15ft above me. It seems to be a bit finicky, but as its a "bonus" feature, I don't mind it not being flawless. The case is nice, and the included batteries and lens wipe is a nice bonus.Overall extremely pleased with this little unit. Works better than I had expected, and has already helped drop my scores by a few strokes.

Good product, great price
I've owned this for about 2 years. I golf once a week and I only had to charge it once, I'm not even joking. Works great, I would highly recommend for any average golfers that can't justify buying a range finder for over $100.00. This one will not disappoint, probably the best one on the market for under $100.00

First One Was Bad. 2nd one was good.
There was a big bubble in the laser receiver lens. It appears to be made of plastic. Quality control must be nonexistent. I initiated a return (replacement) through Amazon. The second one looked fine. I went outside and compared them side by side, measuring slope and distance from 10-550 yards. Interestingly they read within 0.1 yards of one another, and the same angle on all readings. Hopefully it lasts longer than some of the reviews stated.

Hit the power button twice to turn unit on
Ordered the rangefinder on Thursday night and had delivery on Friday afternoon. After unpacking I charged the unit with a usb outlet. After about three hours the green light went out indicating that the charge was complete. I was easily able to change the unit from meters to yards by holding the mode switch. Today I took it out to the course for a test. The unit turned on and the cross hairs appeared but it would not measure the distance. After trying this unsuccessfully a few times I turned the unit on and hit the power button again and a circle appeared on the crosshairs and I was quickly able to read the distance to the pin. In mode two on an uphill par 3 it gave me the distance to the pin and added three yards on the slope. When it found the pin it vibrated, a nice feature. I will need to use the unit for a round or two to see how long the charge will hold. It will be nice not having to buy batteries.6 month update: After using this unit for six months I can say that I am very pleased. It works as well as the more expensive units. It stays charged for a weeks worth of golf. You will never need batteries, which is the reason I bought this unit.

Oops great customer service
I recently submitted an email through their chat function and they did respond and I did not see it...it went to the spam folder. In frustration I gave them a one star review based on what I thought was a lack of concern. While playing a round of golf I was using a USB cord to charge my unit. Rounding a turn it fell out if the cart, landed on the cart path and I could hear parts giggle inside. After fully charging the unit, it actually still functioned but this was well after the round. I thought it was completely broken.I finally found their responses to my query and they were in fact very responsive. They are sending me a new rangefinder. The accuracy of the rangefinder is within a yard. We actually used it to determine a closest to the pin that were extremely close. After using the flag to measure less than 6 inches difference, I used the rangefinder and it confirmed by a tenth of a yard the distance of the two balls.I would suggest a neoprene sleeve with a magnet to secure it to the cart to prevent any mishaps. As rangefinders go this is inexpensive and accurate. Spending a few more for protection still keeps the cost down compared to the big brand companies. It does have an unheard of two year warranty.

Save the $$ for that driver
Having the same rangefinder for the past 12 years, so I was a bit hesitant getting one that was so inexpensive but I figured what would it hurt. I'm always happy when I feel I got a good deal and this is one of those times. It gives accurate readings when confirming with my previous Bushnell however, I didn't have the slope on my old one. It even gives down to the decimal point, if you feel that useful. I will say that since my previous rangefinder was held horizontally these take more getting used to since you hold it vertically and it's harder to shoot the target but that is more me having the shakes. Find myself shooting the target a few times to make sure it's not hitting a tree behind the target. Did purchase the magnetic strap for it as well to stick on the cart.

Stopped working no response on warranty
Update 8/6/23: jane from profry responded to my email and sent me a replacement range finder. I updated my star rating to 3 stars, i got help only after giving profey a bad rating. They also promised me the upgraded range finder but received the exact same one, which is okay. Don’t promise something and don’t deliver.I purchased it in oct, had it 9 months, the first 3 to 4 months it worked flawlessly. All of a sudden it would not get accurate ranges. Then last week it stopped working altogether. The unit is on and shows the lighting bolt when trying to find the target but no results. Contacted profey and have not been able to get a response. The website is not working and no answers on the phone. I would not recommend this product. Feels like they are dodging me. I’m going with brand name on next purchase.
