This is ok but do you really need it? For some games PC & Mouse is better & for others a controller
If you are not a PC gamer who is really into their gaming then you probably don't even know what this device is. I must admit that I didn't have a clue what it was when I first saw it so I had to ask my son who is really into his PC gaming and he asked me to get it and that he would try it out for me as he said it is supposed to give you split second advantages in games that you play on line with your friends, such as Call of Duty, where split second responses are the difference between your character getting killed or not.Well what this device does is change the keyboard and mouse inputs into controller signals so that you can use your keyboard and mouse to play a game that you would otherwise have needed a controller for. It's supposed to give you an advantage over other gamers by being able to give you the best of both worlds as there are certain advantages that a keyboard and mouse input gives you over controller input and vice versa. You have to use this in conjunction with an app called Geekvice, This app gives you excellent flexibility as it gives you the ability to map certain keys to do specific tasks, and you also get access to lots and lots of pre-configured templates already configured specifically for certain games.Build quality wise, this does look quite trendy. It's got a plastic casing and is fairly light. If you get any issues with your mouse or keyboard not working at all then it could be because they are not getting enough power as they both share the one USB-A port. For this reason they have provided an additional USB-C port on the side of the adapter so that you can get around a consistent and stable power supply. The very first problem you experience when you first use your keyboard and mouse through this adapter is that your PC doesn't see any input from the mouse. That's because it's already in controller mode and therefore you have to first go in and configure a shortcut key so that you can switch this to mouse mode. If you are not familiar with how to use your keyboard to navigate through menus and press buttons without the help of a mouse then this can take you a fair while to figure out.My sons conclusion is that if you already have a controller for the PC, like he does then it's not really worth purchasing this adapter as it's quite expensive as well. If you don't already have a controller then it might be worth getting, and even then only for certain games, but you are not going to know if you are better of sticking with the mouse & keyboard over this adapter until you have spent a fair amount of time playing the game. Plus you could be introducing more issues than you are resolving, so unless you are really highly skilled in troubleshooting this type of problem, then it is probably best not to get it.

🎮 Keyboard and Mouse Adapter: Useful but with Some Limits
I tried the AX200-PC Keyboard and Mouse Adapter, designed specifically for PC gaming. It converts keyboard and mouse inputs into controller signals, allowing for a blend of precision and aiming assistance. However, it’s not compatible with PlayStation, Xbox, Switch, mobile phones, or tablets. The high performance with the [Geekvice app] is a highlight, offering pre-made configurations, sensitivity adjustments, and various built-in features like a 1000Hz polling rate and recoil control macros. It’s convenient to personalise settings directly from your smartphone without leaving the game.Flex Mapping is useful for switching between controller and keyboard/mouse modes, which is smooth and enhances the gaming experience. It also supports switching between office and gaming modes. The adapter is plug-and-play, recognised as an X360 device by PCs, making setup straightforward. Overall, it’s effective but limited in compatibility with non-PC platforms.
