I purchased two Ring cameras, one doorbell, one wireless and they fail in comparison to these Girafit cameras. We purchased two for our home and loved them so much we purchased two for our parents. I was SHOCKED to see how well the night vision is compared to the Ring cameras, especially since my Ring cameras aren't recording through a window. I have to leave my porch light on for the back door area in order for Ring to pick up any movement. However, it's not necessary with the Girafit.Connecting was super easy and quick! Setting them up was really easy too. I'm looking at purchasing more so that I can have a camera within my home to see what is happening when I'm not home. Girafit is definitely worth the purchase!Pros:> EXCELLENT night vision compared to well-known cameras.> Amazing zoom - clear and visible.> Stays plugged in so it's always charged.> Storage options for cloud or SD Card.> Plenty of menu options with the option to share with others.> Indoor so there's no chance of theft.> Excellent recording through a window without feedback.> Easy set up.Cons:> The alarm sound isn't loud at all. Would be nice to have a higher pitched sound to ward off intruders that may enter the home.> Because it is always plugged in - with any camera - if power goes out or internet is out you will not have use of the cameras.

I love this mighty mini window camera. Picture quality is amazing - even at night time! I purchased it based on its positive reviews. I am so happy with it. It is so easy to install and monitor on your iphone. Motion notifications are sent immediately and can be changed to only receive “people” movement versus “other” movement. It is very sensitive, as it picks up the bushes moving in the wind. Resulting in me to receive people only notifications. ( But it still records all other movement - you just don’t get notified.)I did not want to pay monthly service fees like Ring cameras. This is set up so you don’t have any! But remember to purchase a separate memory card as stated. It only saves recordings for 1 full day. It clears itself and starts over at midnight. So if you want to save all the videos you will need to subscribe to the service.

I bought this after seeing snapshots of nighttime videos from a friend's camera. It was like looking at pure clear daylight. I had the same results when I installed mine.I am a techno-idiot, and this thing was very easy to install, even for me. I love the fact that it is a plug-in inside the house, so we don't have to worry about batteries and don't have to pay anyone to wire it in for us. Plus the fact that it's inside looking out makes it tamper proof and weatherproof.Even the $$$$ cameras don't have the quality and the easy installation that this setup has. I can't believe something this good was so reasonably priced! I just bought two more sets and intend to install them everywhere.Next I'm looking into whether this company sells dashcams . . .

Installation fairly easy, didn’t have a clue how this was going to work or install . Very satisfied with the performance and the quality of the pictures and videos . I’ve had both cameras going for 3 days , the only problem for me is trying to adjust the sensitivity of the motion detector. I live on a busy street and the first two nights it’s overwhelmed me with pictures of moving vehicles. Worth every penny. Thumbs up

Security risk with this device: It disconnects from wifi each time we get out of range, even when we just take the trash out or go get our mail. When we try to reconnect, it does NOT require us to enter our wifi credentials. Instead, it displays them (network name with password) and tells us to click "yes" to confirm. This means that anyone who gains access to our phone or hacks our phone or the camera can easily gain access to our wifi. That's a security risk we're not willing to take.And even after confirming the wifi credentials, it does not immediately reconnect. We have to turn our phone off and then back on for the app to reconnect. That's a pain in the neck.Other issues:(1) If you choose to record to a microSD card, the app repeatedly pesters you to subscribe to the cloud service.(2) Even though we set our to record locally, ours repeatedly defaulted to cloud. We had to manually switch it to local storage to view recordings.(3) The included instructions are minimal and printed in such tiny print that we could not read them, even with 20-20 vision.(4) We set ours to alert on people only. That only worked about 75% of the time. At other times it alerted on vehicles or for no apparent reason at all.(5) The app is only available for cell phones. Unlike a number of other security cams, there is no app for computers or tablets.It is made in China.We agree with others that the image quality--both day and night--is excellent. But the security risk and frequent disconnects render it useless for us. We disconnected it, deleted our account, and are returning it.Update: Seller contacted me via Amazon messaging and said they had issued a full refund (no need to return the item) and that I would receive the refund in 3 days. Six days later, the refund still has not shown up in either my Amazon account or in my payment method.

I was a little skeptic and I thought the price was a little high but I was amazed at what beautiful and vibrant resolution it has! The night vision is exceptionally awesome! Rey good quality camera - easy to install- there are two apps the first one is a subscription and I was so upset thinking I neede to pay for subscription but it was just that prime app then i chose the second app the plain Girafit one and i took a sigh of relief and it was full force ahead and easy to connect! Great camera I may just consider buying more in the future but I’ll wait till they go down a little bit in price!
