Why is the safety so hard to slide? Even with the extra tab it takes a lot of pressure to move it.

Please follow the instructions and install a original plate under the replacement slide, the side of the plate has two lips on it, when installing, make sure the rough side with the lips is facing up, towards the safety, so that it can slide easily.
