Coverted Type 1 Charger to Type 2
My EV Charger was installed in 2015, and only Type 1 was available at the time. This worked fine when I had my Outlander PHEV. After moving to a Mark 2 Nissan Leaf, I was not happy to understand it had a Type 2 port as this meant (a) buying and paying for a new charger to be installed (b) selling all my existing cables.This device solved the issue, and charges at the full 7kW which is much needed with the larger Leaf battery.Although expensive, it's does feel solid and does lock into place.

Perfect
Works and is well made. so much easier than getting an electrician to modify our home charger from when we had a Leaf Mark 1. A life saver.

Decent quality and definitely works
The charger adapter was exactly what I needed to be able to charge my BMW i3 at type 1 charging locations .Works well.

Rubbish - Took up to 15 minutes to get to work!
Absolute rubbish. Would have given it 0 stars if it was possible. I bought this adaptor to convert my 2016 Nissan Leaf type 1 plug to a type 2 on a Skoda Enyaq. Spent around 10 -15 minutes every time trying to get it to work. Worked eventually but who has 15 minutes to waste every time for it to get a connection. Will be returning to Amazon for a refund. I advise you to buy elsewhere.

Solid product delivered very quickly
Seems like a very solid and sturdy adapter, very simple to fit and secures well to both the charging cable and car charge port. Delivered in less than a day from order and worked as expected when tested on a Type 1 Podpoint chargepoint. Will see how well it lasts but build quality seems very good and it’s only for occasional “get out of jail” use anyway.
