These are so good they’re my second pair
If you have high arches - these are the shoes for you. I mean I’m not a doctor but I have super high arches and if I wear flat shoes or anything without support for over an hour, the middle of my feet hurrrrrrrrt. Badly.I have ON Clouds, I like them. But not for walking long distances or stretches of time in. I tried the infamous Hokas. I actually went to the shoe store to finally “buy into” (literally) the Hoka hype bc so many people rave about them. Their cushion, their support, how long they can wear them throughout the day - and several of my friends are either in the medical industry and on their feet all day, and/or marathon runners. But they just weren’t doing it for me. I honestly do not get the Hoka hype. I really don’t. It felt like they were squeezing my feet from the sides inwards? Idk how to explain it. And I have a normal width foot. And I tried on several variations of that brand. I mentioned this to the gentleman helping me with my shoe selection. I told him I have really high arches, my ON Clouds were not cutting it, and I just was not into any of the Hokas enough to buy them. He suggested the New Balance 1080x14s. I half-way rolled my eyes thinking NB is the official Dad-shoe and I would have to go get some appalling socks to go with them lol. But agreed to try one on with a Hoka on the other foot.THE SECOND I took my first step in the New Balances I verbally exclaimed out loud “oh noooooooooo 😫😫 not the dad shoe!” Yes. The dad shoe. The amount of cushion, the arch support, they’re lightweight, they come in like 15 color options or something like that, I was sold. This blue pair is my second pair that I bought immediately (one pair for the gym which isn’t really necessary but they feel so amazing I told myself they were) and this second pair for running trails, walking, etc.The dads know what’s up. Sorry for all the jokes I made at your expense all these years. Carry on.

Walking on Clouds
It’s like walking on clouds! I have torn the MCL in both my knees, even just walking is painful for my entire body. I buy new sneakers almost weekly in search of comfort. My physical therapist tells me New Balance are the best for knee stability. These take the cake. I wear a size 8.5 and I ordered an 8.5 they’re true to size. Thry really support my foot, ankle and knees. Of course I wish the price was more economical but honestly they are worth the price tag. I actually walked a few blocks today, mind you I usually have to pop pain killers after 1 block. Love this specific color and Would but these In more colors.

Satisfied Nurse
I have worn Hokas, Brooks, On Clouds and now the new balance. I AM absolutely in love with these shoes. I have successfully worn them over the last 4 days at work (ER Nurse) and I have to say I feel like I’m walking on clouds! After a 12 hours shift my plantar usually gives me some trouble but not with these babies! I am telling you they are worth the money! Make that purchase.

Not for me
These shoes have a lot of bounce but it feels like the heel is sinking. Couldn't get used to the feeling so they are going back.

Stability
They are super comfortable. I usually run 3 miles 2-3 days a week. I previously wore an ON pair of shoes and I was looking for something with more stability. These are wide shoes which indeed provide what I was looking for.

Expensive but worth it
I have flat feet and terrible balance. I feel comfortable and safe in this gem. I wish they were not so expensive. I feel I need to sell an organ to stay comfortable. Lol.

I bought 2 sizes up just for comfort, I use it as a daily runner. coming from frequent injuries, as soon as i wore these, i felt so much better that i retired all other shoes.

MORE FOAM! EVEN MORE!
Big foot betches beware: this is a comfortable shoe, but veryyyy clunky. These shoes make my feet look three times larger than they are, and I'm a size 10 wide in women's New Balance. These shoes make my already large feet look VERY disproportionate from my body. It feels like I'm wearing very lightweight bricks on my feet. It's almost as if the New Balance shoe designers put these shoes through chatGPT and said "more shoe, more support, now EVEN BIGGER, MORE FOAM, SO MUCH FOAM YOU CANNOT FOAM ANYMORE!"That being said, these shoes are comfortable, but don't expect a shoe that you can quickly maneuver in. Running in these is like running in a pair of wooden clogs; you have to be mindful of your foot placement to ensure you don't roll your ankle. LESS FOAM!
