Great charging cradle that fits the aesthetic of the portal!
The little USB-C adapter isn't obtrusive and the overall solution works really well providing you a simple means of charging your Playstation Portal. Aligning it is super easy and you have the added benefit of minimizing unnecessary wear on the Portal's USB-C port by constantly disconnecting and reconnecting a charging cable.The LED's in the cradle have a nice even glow to them and the color selection mechanism, while not always responsive, works great.Note that the LED for charging status is separate than the LED that illuminates the base which I certainly appreciate as well.

Neat item. It adds a cool look to my gaming area. The charger will randomly flash red from time to time. Nothing crazy.

Doesn't work.
I have no idea why the dock I received doesn't work. It seems to be the same one I see in the other reviewers photos, but for some reason mine must be a defective unit. The charging prongs don't look like they reach the type c port on my portal.

Clean look
This stand is exactly what I was hoping for. Clean look, the ability to turn off the rgb lights, and a secure fit. I love it.

Does what it supposed to do
I would given this 5 stars but the reason is that I would love to have seen a breathing rainbow or color change or even a rainbow effect to the lightbar. I say a missed opportunity. But overall is a good charging dock for your Playstation Portal. Just wish it did do that. It charges is it says and I feel it charges pretty fast. I took the battery down to about 25% and within an hour it was already charge. So really good.
