Bold sound in a compact, portable package
I bought the Bose SoundLink Flex (2nd Gen) and I’m really impressed. The sound quality is excellent, clear highs, strong mids, and surprisingly deep bass for a compact speaker. It feels very solid and well-built, and the waterproof, dustproof design makes it perfect for outdoor use. The buttons are tactile and easy to use, power, Bluetooth pairing, volume, and a multi-function button for play/pause, skip, or voice assistant. It connects quickly, and the speakerphone feature works well for calls too. Battery life is solid, and the built-in loop is a nice touch for carrying or hanging. Overall, it’s a powerful, reliable portable speaker with great features and usability.

Typical Bose
We lost our prior Bose bluetooth speaker and replacing it with a Bose was a no-brainer. My wife found a competitor's speaker but the sound was tinny. With the Bose, the sound is rich and full with great base as well. We've used it often both indoors and outdoors. It is lightweight and well built. With Bose, you can never go wrong.

Happy purchaser!
Very nice speaker, seems like a high end high quality speaker right out of the box. I’m not an audio connoisseur like my husband is, but I think the sound is excellent. The petal pink color is so pretty and it’s the bomb that it is water and dust proof. My only comments are I was disappointed it didn’t come with some charge to the battery because I wanted to play on it right away! And the loop/handle I feel like could be a tad bigger. But would definitely recommend if you’ve got $150 to invest in a speaker! Very easy to set up as well.

Worth buying
After doing a lot of research and comparisons, I finally chose this speaker — and I’m so glad I did. It meets all my needs: it connects to multiple devices at once and switches between them seamlessly. The sound quality is rich, balanced, and full-bodied, whether I’m listening to music, podcasts, or watching videos. The bass is deep without being overpowering, and the highs are crisp and clear. Build quality is solid, and the design is sleek and portable. Definitely one of the best purchases I’ve made in a long time — highly recommended!

HBD to Me!!
There really is something different about the Bose sound… I have 2 sets of speakers that I use around my home for work & entertainment. I’ve had them for over 15 yrs. and they sound great like I just purchased them. That said, I’m sold on Bose’s brand quality. I’m really enjoying my little pink Bose Soundlink Flex… Did I mention it’s pink. It was a birthday present to myself. The sound is rich, full, and when I first turned it on-I was pleasantly surprised at how good it sounds. I played some jazz, R&B and even my brown noise at night to sleep. Ten out of 10 I highly recommend. I gave my clunky sleep noise machine away-this speaker has been a wonderful replacement. The added bonus is an equalizer via the Bose app- it’s the cherry on top bc the sound is already near perfection, BUT for persnickety music/sound lovers-you’re in luck.

Can’t go wrong
I bought this speaker to replace my JBL and I love it, I’ve had this brand of speakers before and it’s got great sound, good charge seems to last all day on the lake for me. I would definitely buy I again and I just love the color!

Great speaker, excellent quality, but falls over like a drunken sailor.
First, this is a great speaker and worth the money. For all of the hate about "No highs, no lows, must be Bose" over the years, this is a wonderful sounding speaker, particularly for the size. FYI, I'm super picky about my audio equipment although I'm not an audiophile (thank goodness). I bought two of these speakers, and they really shine when paired in stereo mode. The controls on the top are intuitive and work well. The build quality is impeccable. So, why did I dock this speaker a star? It's the most ridiculous thing, and such a miss in the industrial design department, but this speaker is completely unstable when standing up!! The slightest bump on whatever table it's place upon will cause it to fall over. Now, this speaker is actually designed to also sound great on its back, however the very directional high frequencies are almost completely lost in that orientation. Why Bose, why?? This was such a simple design issue to address. It's just a shame that so much thought went into the operational/acoustic design of this speaker, while ignoring the simplest of design considerations. Having said that (I bought two, after all!), I do recommend this speaker for superior sound quality (although come on Bose, only 3 bands of EQ control in your app??). But a simple design consideration was overlooked, hopefully that will be addressed in the next generation.
