For the price, this is one of the best!
This motherboard far exceeded my expectations! The build quality and design are amazing and really look great within my setup. There is more than enough connections for everything I wanted to run from it. My 9800X3D CPU worked right away without the need for a BIOS update, although I did an update shortly after just because. The cost to value of on this unit is great! I didn’t need to spend twice the price for something I wouldn’t use any of the extra amenities of. The install was straight forward, but it is the same as any other motherboard you would purchase. I can’t comment on the WIFI capability as I use a hardline connection for competitive gaming. The speeds are above average, and there are plenty of ports. You can’t go wrong with this setup!

Solidly built, works out of the box.
I've been building PC's since the 90's, and I've built on a lot of asus boards. This one is by far my favorite.First of all, it is very easy to navigate and the instructions are very clear in mapping the various connection locations, and the markings on the board itself are fairly straightforward and easy to find. Plenty of m.2 slots, room for SATA drives, if you like the scenic route, and a plethora of USB options.Secondly, everything was compatible out of the box, no bios flash needed. First time in a long time I haven't had to tinker with anything to get to first boot. And finally, the fit and finish is excellent. I'd never gone in for the TUF branded stuff before, but when I upgraded GPUs a couple of years ago, I lucked into a TUF 3070 Ti, and I find that I appreciate the solid construction and "heft" of the TUF components. That influenced my decision to go with this board over some others, and I'm very happy with it.My ONLY complaint is the new m.2 securing system. I get that it's supposed to be some kind of quick swap or something, but there are little plastic tabs that fold over and hold the drive in place, and they work just fine, but also break pretty easily. I'd have liked the option of screwing the drives down like we did the in stone age, or at least have a couple extra of the plastic clips included.Overall though, I'm extremely happy with this board and I'll definitely be buying TUF for my next upgrade.

Good Motherboard, Linux Users Beware
Motherboard is nice and high quality, the gpu slot has a nice levered release for larger graphics cards.Warning: Neither the r8125 ethernet chipset OR the mt7925e onboard wifi card has good support. The r8125 does not work with the out of the box kernal and requires additional setup. The mt7925e driver own sometimes randomly fails and crashes the entire system. (tested on ubtuntu noble, kernal 6.11.0-24)Neither of these are really ASUS fault, but if I had known this, I would have purchased a motherboard with better out of the box linux support. Windows works fine after using the asus driver download utility, so if you use only windows, you won't have any issues.

Solid Motherboard, BUT keep these things in mind.
Solid MB!Key things to keep in mind. Your graphics card will take up the PCE 5.0 slot, obviously. If you put an M.2 drive into the "second" M.2 slot (shared bandwidth), this will hinder your graphics card. Thus, your M.2 "2nd" slot is useless, do NOT use it. Bad design by Asus. Shared bandwidth just ruins the experience, do not follow this design. Also, a Wifi MB should come with Wifi drivers preinstalled. Installing Wifi drivers on a MB using Windows is a pain in the arse (requires knowledge of opening Windows Explorer and running Windows using command prompt, aka NOT user friendly). Not HARD, but it does require using YouTube and another PC/cell phone hooked up to wifi to work. As of this this MB is NOT plug and play, unless you have an ethernet cable to plug into your router. (If you have ethernet, you're good). Finally, Asus has several "WIFI" drivers for this MB from their support page, but MediaTek is the ONLY one that works. That is a head scratcher. At least MediaTek works... the other two drivers are not recognized, and the setup file does nothing. OUCH! I can only imagine if all of their "wifi" drivers didn't work.-1 Star for "I have to have a 2nd PC/Device to download/install necessary" drivers to use WIFI, and the fact the part of the MB is useless if "2nd" M.2 slot and PCIE 1 and 4th M.2 slot if using last PCIE 2 slot.

Easy Choice
Worked perfectly out of the box, easy to update and navigate the BIOS, plenty of I/O, m.2 slots, and the Asus software suite is also pretty nice.

Bad experiences with new asus boards
UPDATE: I decided to get another x870 thinking i just got unlucky. Unfortunately same issue. Mind you i have tried different power supply and ram sticks. Just like another review on here. There were no errors on the board unless I remove the RAM sticks. Other than that no errors. My CPU works, still works with the b850 with same mobo and ram and psu, but still rebooting issues. This has been a bad experience for me. I am through with Asus amd boards.I have been buying asus boards since i started building pcs and so far within the last week i have gone through two motherbords: This b850 board and asus x870 tuf gaming. One had issues with powering off fully and the other would not power on at all. I am now going another route and looking at other manufacturers.

Excellent Motherboard
Works great. Set up was easy. Just make sure you hear everything snap or your connection isn't there. I only had two issues. The first was only two SATA connections but I know it has multiple M2s and that's where everything is going towards. The other issue was that the Windows 11 RAID drivers for it aren't right yet so I had to run my drives in AHCI.I can save to two of them but can't access the middle drive and windows doesn't have an access/open function for the drives... So it's more of a Windows Issue.
