Fun Drone for kids to learn with
Awesome gift for a younger child that wants a Drone. Well made and can handle some bumps. The lights are super vibrant and the controls are easy to use. Battery life is not the best so make sure both batteries are fully charged.

Very POOR instructions! I got a 2nd one as a replacement & it's NO BETTER!
I can't get the propellers to operate at all! I installed 3 AAA batteries in the controller & connected the battery in the drone. The lights flash & I was able to INITIALLY change them, but IDK how to get them back to the starting mode! HOW THE HELL do you get this freaking thing to FLY!? I've pushed every button & NOTHING !What's MORE. . .there's a compartment on the FRONT of the controller other than the battery compartment with an arrow pointing DOWN. I tried & tried to press that to open that compartment & I can't open it & have now BROKEN the damn tab in trying ! OH GREAT! I can't PRY it open either- so far! WHAT IS THAT COMPARTMENT FOR? There's NO mention of it in the pamphlet sent with the device ! THIS SUCKS! I bought this to play with my DOG & exercise him by flying it just high enough to get him to jump & try to get it, but I figure the obstacle avoidance mode will cause it to avoid the dog! THAT'S WHY I BOUGHT THIS ONE! Now I can't even get it to function - other than the lights! WT _?!?! I'M PISSED!I sent for a replacement of the 1st one & that arrived today & the damn thing is no better than the 1st one! SAME ISSUES! It's NOT pairing the controller with the drone! I've fooled with BOTH of these things until I'm blue in the face & NOTHING changes it! I live in the REMOTE Northwoods & the nearest UPS drop location is OVER 20 miles away ! . . IF that close! I'm REALLY >PISSED OFF< !

Amazingly fun to fly
I got this drone originally as a gift for my wife because she's wanting to get into the flying world. Everything about this drone functions flawlessly. The battery is charged rapidly and they last for a relatively long time considering the price point that you have on this one. Super easy to fly and even easier to use. My wife has an absolute blast and says it's one of her most fun experiences that she's had. It is extremely lightweight, the lights are extremely bright. Has a great distance and can actually get quite far up in the air. Everything that comes with it makes it an outstanding value. This would be a great gift idea for somebody who is a beginner or even somebody that wants to take a step back from the higher powered and more difficult drones just to get back to basics. This one is absolutely worth every single penny.

More Fun Than Playing With A Rattlesnake, Plus Flying Tips
My RamblingsOur First Drone! The kids and I were super excited to get this and start our crash course in flying, and after a steep learning curve, we are even more excited. So let's take a closer look at this inexpensive, fantastic fun, drone. To the Point or TL;DRGreat for 7+ year olds, Featherweight (don't fly when windy), 15 minutes flight time per battery, 2 batteries +charger included, 1 hour recharge per battery, Batteries fit super snug, Doesn't break easily (personally crash tested accidentally on purpose), Comes with replacement propellers, Great lighting that also points the way. Steep learning curve, but worth it.The Tips StuffBattery: connect the battery to drone and then push the connector down in the space opposite of compartment hinge, then put battery top end (one with wire attached) in first toward hinges, then push down remainder. May need to tap drone on bottom to remove.Flight Lights: Blue light on bottom shows which part of drone is the front/forward. So when it is upin the air, you can easily tell what is what.Bonus Flight Lights: The lights around the edge flash green in the direction you are directing it, like car blinkers. Other lights indicate up, down, etc. Pay attention and it will significantly improve your flying.Take off & Emergency landing: Don't try in grass. Grass sticks up through propellers and might cause some issues. You can start it on palm of your or friends hand if want (be careful), and we like to use the one click button for take-off and for when it gets out of control and needs a quick landing. The Good Stuff95% of it. Kid friendly and approved. Takes a beating and keeps going. One of the propeller engines popped out during a crash, and we easily pushed the wires and the engine back into place. We have some chipped propellers; however, they still work and it comes with replacements. Crashed it the creek one day. Just turned it off and let it dry for a day. Still working. You can make it fly inches off the ground or up, up, up, and away. Just a lot of fun.The Bad StuffWow that battery is tight in there and a general PIA, but I get they must keep the weight down or we would have even less time to play.Who May Use/Like ItThose wanting to have fun, and like to learn new things.Me Final ThoughtsI was not expecting much and was wonderfully surprised. Definitely worth $20. Now excuse me... I gotta fly. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. Hope it helps! All the best, Just BenjaminReviewed: Brand: Lawfig Cost: $19.99 at time of review.Drones for Kids and Beginners, 2024 Small RC Drone Quadcopter Drones with 360 Degree Flip, Remote Control Airplane with RC Light, Surround Flight, 2 Batteries

Short battery life
Works great. My 8 year old can control it after practicing. Battery life is short.

Don’t buy it, it doesn’t work right.
Item will not fly as the instructions provided. If I hit the remote button it says to press to make it hover 1 meter off the ground, it just takes off and flys wild for about 50’ and crashes. No control with the remote. The return date window is closed and we just tried it out with my nephew. I’m stuck with blinking light junk. Don’t buy this trash.

Not a bad drone, but it does have a few issues
Overall this is a decent little drone for indoor use only. The LEDS that surround the drone look pretty cool and work well. One thing that’s not that good is the level of noise the motors on the drone make, they’re pretty loud. Also, several of the listed features the drone is supposed to be able to do don’t actually work on the drone I received. Obstacle avoidance is one of the Main features that doesn’t work on the drone. The trimming feature doesn’t really work either and that’s an important feature as it makes so the drone can auto hover. Battery life is fairly good and the batteries are easy to charge. This would be a good first drone for anyone that’s been wanting to learn to fly drones.
