was this suppose to be 1 bowl with lid?

I am a big fan of glass storage for food and am now getting rid of all plastic containers. Glass won't emit toxic chemicals into my food, and it can last forever with a few commonsense precautions. It is money well spent. The price was fair although with inflation these are WAY more expensive everywhere than just a few years ago. I would buy from this seller again.

I really like these containers. I'm converting all of my plastic containers over to these glass ones to cut down on microwaving plastic and I have been very satisfied. The glass is thick and very strong. On more than one occasion I have dropped one on the ground and none of them have broken. The only complaint I have is that some of the lids will develop a crack on one side, which reduces how effectively the lid stays in place.

Pyrex is a good value. The problem is that this was advertised as a 6 piece set. I got 1 container and 1 lid- 2 pieces. The price is too high for 2 pieces.

I already own three of these handy two-cup containers and use them so often that I ordered six more. They're sized just right for smaller amounts of leftovers and packed lunches. Glass is great: I can readily identify what's inside and it's microwavable. These are well-priced—good value for the money. Two big positives: 1) pyrexware.com states that lids are indeed BPA-free 2) Pyrex containers are made in America = no container ships polluting the air with low-grade bunker fuel as they cross the Pacific.

These are great little serving size bowls for portioning out meals for days in advance.no worries about microwave usage unlike plastic storage containers, and no worries about BPA or PTFE or any other chemical infiltration either.They are extremely durable too. i accidentally dropped one from waist height onto a tiled concrete floor and it just bounced 3 or 4 times.I DO NOT recommend that you try this, but it didn't even chip in my case..highly recommended

Love Pyrex because it is sturdy and perfect for storage and reheating without having to worry about horrible plastic chemicals leaching into my food. This size is perfect for taking left overs to work. I have many sizes for all my needs.

Pyrex. SO much better than using those dang reusable plastic containers.I heat so many items up with these glass dishes. Never microwave or place the covers in the dishwasher though...only the glass does that.Durable, as in klutz-o here has not broken one (YET). I call that a success.
