Works just great. I was surprised that the fume level was quite low although I didn’t see that it was water based. 3 coats as recommended worked just fine. I’m pleased with the results.

Dries slow compared to Polycryl. I tried to use as sealer on hand painted clocks. This is a very good product but cures to slow for what I was trying to do!

Worked beautifully to set homemade painted ornaments. Not glossy but a nice sheen

The finish looks nice but it goes on very thin. Took quite a few coats to build up a decent coat on some thirsty hickory. I ended up ordering double what I thought I would need. It does however make it very easy to get a drip free finish. On a more solid surface it would probably be a lot better.

Never tried polyurethane in a spray can. Very easy to use and no clean up after using. The paint is a little bit thinner, but covers well. No worries about the paint going stale in a regular can and very easy storage. Will look forward to more of this type paint in the future.

Despite Previous Glowing Testimonies Of Mine Regarding Minwax Products, Something Has Gone Awry With Their Recent Production Practices. I Ordered And Received This Quart Of Minwax Oil Base, Clear Warm Satin Polyurethane In Early June 2024 (~$20). The Product Code On The Can Indicated A Production Date Of About 6 Weeks Prior. Upon Opening The Can, I Discovered That The Contents Had The Approximate Viscosity Of Water. Normally, In The Past, The Usual Proper Viscosity Has ALWAYS Resembled That Of Pancake Syrup. This Thickness Was Usually Satisfactory For My Purposes, Plus It Allowed For Thinning With Mineral Spirits If Desired ... A Seemingly Perfect Product For Decades. With This Recent Purchase, Even While Using The Utmost Caution, It Was Impossible To Even Stir The Contents Without A Ridiculous Level Of Splashing. Equal Caution While Attempting To Apply The Product To Sanded 2"X6" White Pine Lumber With A 1" Brush Yielded Equally Unsatisfactory And Infuriating Results. I Feel Sure That Amazon Would Issue A Credit If Asked, And A Lengthy, Friendly Call To A Minwax Representative Assured Me A Friendly Resolution If Amazon Refused ... But I Don't Care To Waste Even More Time With This. I Remain A Faithful Minwax Customer For Now, But The Only Sensible Approach Is To Buy This Product In A 'Brick And Mortar' Store, And Have The Store Employee Open The Can For Inspection. If The Contents Are Somewhat / Moderately Thick, It's Probably Good. If It's Thin Like Water, It's Probably The Same Garbage I Got Stuck With This Time. Beware.

I like how it didn't make things too shiny or distracting. It's a very good finish and protected my mask well.
