Lovely and fine, strong colour. Easy to apply and fairly long lasting.

Really nice eyeliner pen that I use every day. The blacks come in either matt or shiny which is nice, it doesn't smudge and goes on really smoothly and precisely. Easily lasts all day. Comes off easily with miscellar water.

I've used this eyeliner for ages as it is probably the best one you can get for this kind of price but as someone who has a pollen allergy and watery eyes - this doesn't really work as it smudges quite easily. The applicator bit is very nice and precise though, which I love :)It does tend to eventually dry out if you don't use it too often, I use it like every other day and even then it gets a bit too dry sometimes.

As a consumer who has been wearing liquid eyeliner for the majority of my life, I am always searching for that 'holy grail' item. The eyeliner that glides on like a dream, is highly pigmented, has a perfectly shaped brush for drawing razor sharp wings and one that lasts throughout the whole day without fading or budging. Sadly, this item isn't it, and although my search continues, I am still highly impressed with this Maybelline pocket rocket!First of all, I was slightly concerned when the eyeliner arrived without a plastic seal on it, and I began to wonder if it was a genuine product or if it had been tampered with. In my experiemce, a low priced product is usually too good to be true, and as I clicked open the lid, I did feel dubious. However, one quick swipe along my eyelid and I immediately started paying attention- that brush is seriously precise and the colour is such a deep, dark black. I went about my usual make up routine and had high hopes for this eyeliner's staying power.Fast forward a busy 12 hours later and it was time for me to remove my make up- but first, I assessed the damage. The wing tips I had drawn on had began to fade slightly at the edges and that deep black colour had faded to a charcoal grey.Despite the longevity issues, I am still pleased with the product- that initial application in the morning looked like I had used a high end product, not one at under a fiver!So if you're looking for a reasonably priced, reliable, high performance eyeliner and don't mind topping up your eye make up in the afternoon, the Maybelline Hyper Precise Liquid Eyeliner is the one for you

Wish I never bought it, I saw the good reviews and thought I’d try it out, but if you like incredibly sharp eyeliner without having to use tape or clean up, this is not the one.The tip is dry, even when you use excess product, it dries out immediately. When I tried using it on my eyelids, the lines were jagged and I had to wipe it completely off.I’ve added a comparison photo for the size of the tip, so would avoid if you like dainty or sharp lines without the clean up. (This eyeliner is on the left)

I've tried this twice, it's a basic felt liner, I would not say it's long wear, if you have oily lids or you get it wet it will easily smudge off. The tip is nice but over time the felt will start to clump at the tip, and it loses opacity quite quickly. If you try to reapply to build opacity sometimes it'll just sweep the product off. I definitely prefer brush tip liners way better than felt. I'd say it's a good beginner liner.
