My grandson loved this. It is the smaller legos so be sure your young child has some guidance and help putting together. I purchased it for a 6!year old and he did just fine; however he loves legos and put them together all the time. So if your child is not used to putting legos together be expected to help and give them guidance. Otherwise, perfect gift for your Lego lover.

My great-nephew loved this for Christmas! According to his mother, my niece, he's still playing with it and using parts to build with his other Lego toys. She said he loves this batch more than his others.

I have yet to complete the build but so far its good. The instruction booklet is easy to read, making assembly straight forward. The pirate ship is a fun build and good value for your money. As with all generic brand building blocks, some pieces are too loose or tight. However, you can still assemble it without major issues. The bricks are Lego compatible.

Need something to entertain a child for hours, this is the one. This takes a long time for a child to put together and it is fascinating enough to keep them on it until it is done. These are compatible with the Lego brand, which is always a plus. Absolute joy for a little boy to sit and focus on and to see the joy when completed is so worth it. The instructions are easy enough for a 10 year old to understand and put together
