About 480 mbps via a usb external drive, on a good day.Satisfied!not using as a internal drive so I didn't test the speed.

Terrible high pitched whine
Has a terrible high pitched whine. It’s acceptable if you have a relatively loud computer, but in something such as laptop or netbook or something, that is quiet, then it is agonizing. It gives me a headache and I ended up having to put the SSD in my server because it was the only thing that was loud enough to offset the wine make it usable without giving me a terrible headache. Haven’t had it long enough to test the reliability yet.
