This car is allot of fun. Iv been driving it indoors on my tile floor witch makes it kind of hard to control but I can drift and fish tail. Im able to get it going fast for some stretches. The car seems like it has fairly good conroles to me I dont really have prior experience. If your an adult and you plan to spend time playing with it you might want to get a more expensive one with proportional steering instead of all or nothing witch is kind of annoying. Iv crashed it at high speed maybe 30 times and still working fine. Iv had to adjust the steering occasionally, and the car cant steer well with very low battery. Car often is stuck on accelerate or some other malfunction when you change car batteries just turn the car and controler off and on again or replace the controlers batteries and it will go away. Batteries last about 15 minutes with pretty intense use and take about 1.5 hours to charge. Im enjoying getting good at driving it and racing it around this route Iv chosen in my house.

update: My review below may have been pandemic related. The last examples I got seemed to be fine. This kind of technology is amazing, for such low money. I wish I was a kid in this day and age. The best thing about these RC cars is the size. Nice and compact. They're not going to hurt your kids toe when they run into them. The cats will chase them rather than run away from them. Which is fun. Great little product and pretty darn fast.Given my experiences I think it's important to mention that these do not have a high level of build quality. They are amazing digital proportional fast full-blown RC cars as advertised. But I think it's a lot to ask in that size form at 1:43 not have build issues so I would say that my experience about 25% of these come out the factory a little out of adjustment or unfixable. So for example somebody said that these don't come out of the factory with digital proportional steering. It's just all or nothing. That's wrong. And I can see why you would think that if that's the particular item that you received. So be careful when you look at the reviews it could be just that particular example. If you order one of these and there are issues then you can return it if it's a tough call at the how it happened listen just buy another one they're just 30 bucks. I've had glitches such as the unit only goes backwards or some that don't work at all. It's a bad ass tough quick little car. The battery situation is fussy requires a screwdriver and it's too bad that it didn't have more overall capacity. On the other hand you can switch out new packets if you can find one for sale go ahead and get it otherwise your kid might get bored of this thing. I can think of no better toy for a full-grown one year old cat because they're fast enough they really are an honest 10 mile an hour car which is a good Gallop for a cat and that's hard to find. Some kittens are a bit intimidated by the size. Make sure they are played with and treated gently and provokingly and you'll have a great cat toy on your hands which will actually help the health of a cat and for adults because as a full-blown functional RC car when will never get bored playing with a cats with this.. so you'll play with your cat more often. Now if you have a Bengal or something like that this is something that is required LOL. I can't believe kids have these today I would love to have something like this for thirty bucks back in the day wow you sure are lucky

Original plan was to swap the shell for an rx8 body. turns out a little wider tuan expected. power wise, after 5 min run, change to secondary. it is surprisingly way faster than expected. the shell is very durable thick plastic. the tires does make the car kinda bouncing when you run over tiny pebbles, flip over quite a lot due to awd power sysytem. got the hang of it now. this is a very fun rc.update, did a custom paintjpb in 2nd photo to make it agressive looking

Nice little RC truck. It comes with 2 rechargeable batteries and is fun to drive. Very nice detailed body and it is all wheel drive! I only wish that it had proportional steering (it only turns all the way left or right)

After playing with the car for a bit, i have to say it is really fun for indoors. Would recommend for someone that wants to have some fun just playing around. Steering is fine on the two I got. Aside from long charge times, I think it’s great for the money.

My 7yo son likes to browse Amazon to use his chore money. He wanted a car that charged quickly and went fast. While this RC car is smaller than his others (pay attention to the dimensions!) it is FAST! He has had a blast zipping it around our house. It is also light enough that it runs fine on carpet, which would sometimes bog down his other cars.

DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THE RADIOThis is NOT a proportional steering RC car. As you turn the wheel on the radio to turn, wheels do not turn until you feel it click (hitting some kind of tactile button inside) and then the wheels turn 100%. I guess this is "digital" control, you're either turning 100% right, 100% left, or going straight. Do NOT expect to be able to turn just a little bitFor $25 i guess i should have expected this, but o saw the radio and figured since it wasn't the button-type steering, it was okay.So yeah, this is a toy, do not expect much from it.
