First things first, this product is NOT cheap; however, it is absolutely worth the price! I first tried my hand at some of the cheaper options of terminal removal tools, and they would bend and break, never fit right, and hardly even work. I actually had better luck using a bobby pin than I did with the cheap terminal removal tools.This tool set is an entirely different story! The plastic guard that protects the metal tips on each tool are crafted to such tight tolerances that they hold tight, require a firm but easy degree of force to slide down and out of the way, and work perfectly to protect the tips when they're meant to while not being a total PIA to get out of the way when it's time to use them.The tips on these tools are fully replaceable with the removal of one or two machine screws depending on the specific tool, so you can use these for years to come while keeping them like new for cheap if they do eventually break.The push button on the Mini-Fit Jr, Micro-Fit, and 4-pin Molex tools make removing terminals and absolute breeze!Yes, these are seemingly pricy at almost $90. Yes, a bobby pin will work with enough tenacity and patience. No, the money you save using bobby pins is NOT worth the extra effort and frustration that removing terminals with them brings. It took me about 5-10 minutes per connector using a bobby pin, and that was after I spent an hour figuring out how to make them work. With these tools, it takes MAYBE 10 seconds per terminal, meaning you can remove the connectors from EVERY cable that comes in a 1600 watt PSU in less time than it will take you to remove a single connector with a bobby pin.
